I know many hate picture discs though, so InfiniteMerch has you covered with a nice splatter Teaser for the album: Update- Thanks Deviled Egg. TheWindBlower
I didn't notice the "album presale" option. That's awesome and way earlier than expected if it goes up on Tuesday.

Snaggle Von Swift
I can't believe this is the same weekend as Riot Fest and I will be in Chicago. I'm hoping they announce something for the following weekend with the same lineup that I can fly out for.
nancy_raygun
I cant believe Jimmy Eat World aren't headlining. I'm kinda surprised Against Me! aren't headlining. They seem to be getting the most press lately.
marc32137
There are 3 other shows on Ticketmaster - 2 in Boston and 1 in Atlanta. JEW aren't listed on those, only Against Me!.
Shitty Rambo
I was under the impression bands didn't give a shit about being a headliner anymore. 75% of the shows I go to are to see an opener or middler over the headliner these days anyways. Pretty sure that bands care about headlining where they make significantly more money than when they don't headline. sacredheart
Shitty Rambo
Pretty sure that bands care about headlining where they make significantly more money than when they don't headline. Is that still a thing? Seems like most of these acts are co-headlining and are probably making the same amount regardless. Besides, in this case, if Jimmy Eat World or Against Me! didn't want to do this tour or think it would benefit them they wouldn't do it. I imagine both acts are simply Gaslight Anthem fans and are touring with a band they dig cause music is fun. Money isn't everything, it's not crazy to think there's still a metric shit ton of bands out there that simply play music because they like to and couldn't careless about their guarantees. The fine line between career musicians and artists may be blurry but it's there.

You realize even your typical Fest-punk band still has booking agents and managers and jockeys for better position on tours and shit, right? Everyone wants to get paid, no matter how fun their job is or how passionate they are.
Shitty Rambo
I was more talking about bands with decade+ established followings who seem to tour with bands they like opposed to what's going to pay more. Obviously they're not working for peanuts. Whatevs, I'm not in the industry, but I did play in a band with major label support for quite sometime. Just my opinion and what I've gathered from friends still playing, nothing more.

dpolito_123
I pre ordered the picture disc because Gaslight failed to share the infinitemerch link. So Now I pre ordered both splatter and picture disc clocking in at just under 100 bucks for this album. Bundles sucks...Thanks to vinyl collective though for the heads up.
