I had never heard Statie Prevails but I have enjoyed almost all other JEW releases so I figured why not. It's.. not that great, to my ears. That other singer is kinda jarring and it's definitely in rough mode. I get that it's basically a different era of the band, I am just not in love with the sound. The products themselves are fantastic, although I'm not a fan of black covers like Futures because tiny finger smudges are very apparent. I kind of really love Jim's voice on Static haha. I don't know if I'd pick it over his voice presently, but it's a nice change of pace to throw that record on my TT and still be listening to JEW.
