IanRees
I'm sure there will be a friend's press that people lose their mind over.that's usually only with bridge 9 releases. Duff
Out Of Time
that's usually only with bridge 9 releases. Now that you say that it makes sense. I've seen friend's presses most often from B9 and I guess I just never made the connection. Touché.
littlebistro
that's usually only with bridge 9 releases. Not true. FTSTYS had an orange friends press of /25. That was a drive thru release.Speaking of which.. I have a test of FTSTYS that I'd be willing to part with.. Comes with a custom screen printed jacket. youngwonton
Steve Klein's perviness aside, he was a pretty good lyricist, and I think this song reinforces that. Not that I dislike the song, but the lyrics are a little clunky compared to their previous stuff. verb1999
pushbacktosquare
I mean, New Found Glory has never really been a band that's been a 10/10 when it comes to lyrics. They have a ton of great lyrics, sure. But they also have a fair share of questionable lyrics: "I am the knot in your stomach. The flem in your throat." trevorxramage
youngwonton
True, but I feel like for every "knot in your stomach", there was a "We're kept together by highways and telephone lines". I just think it will be interesting to see how the lyrics change with Jordan's perspective (I assume he's writing the lyrics now).
youngwonton
Ok listening to it again and there's a couple lines that I really like."Anxiety is a crippler, nothing meaner Than loaded eyesFollowed by a smirk and a whisperAs I pass you by, but I’ll let it flyCause my hand is sewn to my heart"I like that whole verse. I still think the chorus is clunky though. And the "bitter dinosaur" and especially the "flat soda" line make me cringe a little.
Troy plays bass
I love the "bitter dinosaur" part. That whole pre-chorus is perfect pop punk in my eyes. But yeah, the "felt emptiness like the taste of a flat soda" line is awful. verb1999
AWasteOfATime
Chad can write songs. Shouldn't be a problem. Did you guys hear some of the lyrics on Radiosurgery though? good god.

1876records
Non-bundle tickets for their upcoming tour went on sale this morning. Visit the individual venue websites for tickets. Just bought a ticket for the Albuquerque gig. Driving 6 1/2 hours so I can stage dive on some fools.
youngwonton
Map of Your Body is the best song on that record. Love the 6/8 breakdown in that song. I don't hate Radiosurgery though. I think the title song, Anthem for the Unwanted, I'm Not the One, Drill It in My Brain, Summer Fling, and Ready, Aim, Fire! are all pretty good songs as well. Yeah, the album's a little sugary, and definitely not a high water mark of their discography, but I don't think it's a bad album at all. pushbacktosquare

I had a feeling this would happen. Barrier or no barrier, if they play "Singled Out" I will lose it.
