The Vinyl Deals Thread (non-Amazon)

Recommended Posts

Saw this on Reddit. Kind of interesting.

It's a 22 album set of various tribal and field recordings for $45. It's old stock from the 60s-70s.

This is very cool. I love stuff like this. I just wish it didn't cost $61 to ship to Canada.

Ernie B's Reggae is having a blowout sale right now - a lot of solid titles in there by Speedy Ortiz, Surfer Blood, MOURN, Toro Y Moi, Ryan Adams, etc - a lot for under $10. Good mix of genres, older re-presses and newer titles. Shipping is a little high, but I've ordered from them before, and they pack/ship well, so it's worth it.

They also have the Ryan Adams "Love Is Hell" Mobile Fidelity 3 LP set for about $50 shipped - which is the cheapest I've found it so far.

www.ebreggae.com, then click on the red "Blowout sale" tab.

Here is my glowing review for Ernie B Reggae.

My gf bought me a record from their Amazon store as a gift and it arrived FAST (we are both here in California) and it was packed in a regular square mailer inside a larger box with extended corners. Double boxed! And they included a $10 off $30 coupon that could be redeemed through their own online store.

My second order, using the $10 off coupon, was also for 1 LP and it arrived fast and double boxed just like the first.

Last week, I got an email for a $10 off $40 discount so I ordered 4 records and 2 7"s. Today, they arrived in an awesome thicker record box inside of an awesome thicker box with the same extended corners. And the 7"s were sandwiched between 7" cardboard squares, wrapped in seran-wrap, then wrapped in bubble wrap.

Long story short, best packaging I've ever seen. Their only real weakness is their catalogue, which is mainly reggae and classic rock. I can't find everything I'm looking for on their site but, when I do, it's often very reasonably priced.

They are worth a look!

I'm with Bake on this. I've had nothing but great interactions with EBReggae. Got that MoFi Pinkerton for like $15 a while back because of a coupon from them and it arrived quickly and in great shape.

Elusive Disc is having a "sale of the century".

What I saw:

Luke warm prices on: BSS Forgiveness Rock Box ($40, pretty good), Dylan Bootleg #10 ($40), Rolling Stones Grr! Greatest Hits ($120), Mumford Sons Road to Red Rocks box ($40)

20% off at Barnes and Noble (not just vinyl) until Monday with BNFAMILY20. As Amazon don't seem to do offers like this, I'm experimenting with buying stuff just above the UK VAT threshold from B&N using discount codes to reduce them below it. Shipping is similar. First on the list is Caspian - Dust and Disquiet on white.

CCMusic/ImportCDs has listed it on Amazon for $9.77, which ends up being roughly the same price shipped, but I think it's better to order from Amazon. The $14 Prime listing is not bad either.
