Youinreverse
Excellent news. Can't wait to pick up Interstate 8 and maybe another copy of Building Nothing. Hopefully Everywhere and His Nasty Parlor Tricks and Baron Von Bullshit get the vinyl treatment soon.
Guest
I bought a beat to shit copy of Parlour Tricks and would really like a nicer copy. I guess the Night on the Sun EP will do until then.

downisthenewup87
At what point does Fat Possum charge you. Definitely want Building Something (3rd favorite MM album) but debating holding out to see what else surfaces.
Eliminator Jr.
'Building Nothing..' is still my favorite release of theirs. Can't wait for this..
j67ab
You can still find standard copies of LCW and TIALDFSWNTTA. That said, I'm excited for Building Nothing Out of Something. Some killer tracks on that. $24.98 each at Amoeba + free shipping for LCW & TIAL... I was there last week and it looked like they had a stack of 50. Derek™
The people who aren't that excited for Interstate 8 need to get their priorities straight! Is it essential even with Build Nothing, do you think? I don't even have a digital copy. Been dragging my feet on that one, I guess.
serious business
Is it essential even with Build Nothing, do you think? I don't even have a digital copy. Been dragging my feet on that one, I guess. I'm feeling the same way Derek, with Building Nothing, and LCW having all the songs from Interstate 8 on them, I just don't see any need to buy Interstate 8 anymore. The only other reason would be the live songs on the B-side...but I'm not crazy about recorded live stuff. Meh. thesewoodenideas
Shelby
It's the track sequence that matters. Kinda, I dunno I just want it.

It's worth it for Edit the Sad Parts. Edit: Oops. I just realized that it's on the new reissue of Long Drive. I'm still buying it though. It is hard for me to call it essential when a lot of it is early recordings and a couple of the things reappear on Building Nothing Out of Something but I still think it is something that should have been pressed years ago and is one of my personal favorite albums ever. axisrecapital
Well...I just preordered both with Elusive Discs and was oddly stricken with buyers remorse immediately. Mostly, because I bet there will be another variant, limited and colored, if MM follows the same trend with LCW and TIALD. Anyone know if Elusive Discs offers refunds if something else pops up that is more appealing?
casey
Womp womp And then this happened: Dear Elusive Disc customer, We are writing to inform you for a notice for your pre-order item: FPLP11444 - Modest Mouse "Building Nothing Out Of Something" This item is temporarily off of our webstore per the band and label’s request. Exactly what I was thinking. I'm okay with not spending the funds for a bit longer, but just as stoked that these presses are happening.
