radiatorhums
Fact: Every closed down RadioShack location in the US is now being used as 2018 pop-punk vinyl vault storage. Hopefully an arson spree will eliminate them all.

One Hundred Fifty-Two
Interpunk just joined my very short list of places I will never buy from, joining SRC and Radio Shack. Might want to stop buying from every label. Seeing as I can't think of one that hasn't done something like this. stl_ben

cwhitmuzik
I love how much everyone on this forum hates SRC when I feel like somehow they have to somehow be affiliated with or run VC since the only ads and non user created content seems to be all SRC. ...they do
Tardcore
Those Cute Lepers LPs are a f*cking STEAL!!!!!! Yeah they are...I picked up one of each. I already have a copy of "Can't Stand Modern Music"....but for $5, may as well grab a backup. Jollyronnie
Shitty Rambo
That is ridiculous and lame as fuck. Hang your head in shame, Interpunk. I got a survey email from them a couple weeks ago asking if I'd care if they carried non-punk records and merch. I think we can all see where they're going with this. drummerboy032
Agreed on a lot of the prices being high, but I did take advantage of getting the NFG 'S/T' pic disc for $25. OOP and I couldn't find a better deal elsewhere. That was the only reasonably priced item on there.. And it's OOS now

They're a retailer who gets records from a label or distributor and are expected to sell them at a suggested retail price. by holding back stock until after it goes out of print and then putting it up for sale in their own store for a higher price is pretty fucked. stl_ben
Also do we really think they sat on these records for 5 years just so they could sell them for $15 instead of $7? Or is more likely they were organizing and found stuff they thought was sold out but they still had a copy or two laying around? kurtz and toxicity

stl_ben
"Over our 18 year history, we have set aside a few copies of some special items that are mostly long out of print, or at least rare." Yes I can read that....but do you their master plan was.....hmmmm, If I store this for 10 years I can get an extra $10 bucks for it! Or is it possible that was just the wording they used for finding some old out of stock stuff? toxicity
Dillhole
"Over our 18 year history, we have set aside a few copies of some special items that are mostly long out of print, or at least rare." I missed that on the site. Yea what they're doing is pretty fucked up.
Tardcore
They have clearly been secretly amassing a stockpile of McCrackins LPs, manipulating the market, and patiently waiting for just the right time to release them on the market and stick it to you, the innocent consumer. borosel

Interpunk sells some of my records, and if I found out they were selling stuff after it was out of print for more than it was supposed to be sold for, I'd be pissed. When they sell my records I get to decide the price and they let me know what their markup is. If they break that agreement, I'd be mad. youspinmeround
Think about how many records they sat on that have zero value...this isn't exactly science....you don't know if labels are going to stop pressing stuff and fans still want it

Deathwish just put up limited variants of releases yesterday and hid them in the drop down menu, all at normal $12-$15 prices. That was cool.
