Would be pretty weird to see the band's main merch store "stuck" with standard black vinyl while some random distro received a colored variant, but I guess stranger things have happened. For anyone in the U.S. who is curious; Black vinyl + postcard from the CHVRCHES webstore comes out to $28.77 PPD. That's largely in part to the cheapest shipping option (Standard Ground) which is $8.79. White vinyl + postcard imported from the UK comes out to $31.33[ish]. $2.66 more. Just food for thought. Kind of sucks that either way you cut it, you're looking at $30 for a single LP. Considering that I don't really know what to expect from the record, I think I'll be sitting tight to see what other options open up. Especially if Bullmoose can offer up something good.
