I do some mixing and stuff on the side. I once was going to do it full-time, and then people were like, "We're not going to pay you for that." And I was like, "Well, okay then. I guess I'll do this for free." So now I have a "real" job.

I mixed a couple tracks for a guy named Koji who is a really cool dude, and they ended up on a split with La Dispute, who are some of the greatest guys I have ever known. It was put out by a record label from my home area, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out (except for the actual vinyl pressing, kinda ). I don't share this to seem cool (really, this doesn't feel cool), I just got a chance to be a part of a split that I really care about, and it's a pretty random thing about me. So now you know it. Does anyone read these things?

I'm Joey, 22 years old, a newbie as far as vinyl collecting goes. I currently only own 10 records but have more on the way, including 4 that I've purchased from users on this forum, I just now realized vinyl sounds so much better as far as music quality is concerned and have no problem supporting an artist this way rather than buying digital albums or CD's. I live in Chicago and you will most likely find me in the NHL discussion forum and a couple others.
