chkadea
Except me. I'm the worst, but I'm OK with it. Obviously.
Snaggle Von Swift
$261 to get a Visa to enter Russia... that's basically 1/3 of what I paid for the actual trip. C'mon, Russia!

thebilljim
You wrote a book? More details? I did! It's a full length collection of poetry, published by a small indie press based in Austin TX (Timber Mouse Publishing) - they're mostly poems about growing up in a small town, finding my identity through punk and hardcore, and navigating through my own mental health issues. My publisher won't have copies until probably next week, but I have my author stock in hand. You can read some of the poems in the book, and (if you are interested) buy a copy directly from me at http://www.williamjamespoetry.com

That's pretty ridiculous. Most I've paid for a Visa was a little over $100 and that irked me.
Youinreverse
A couple venues here switched over to Ticketfly instead of a local ticketing company and I'm not impressed so far. I bought a ticket a month ago to see Arms and Sleepers and still haven't received it. The show is tomorrow night. : / I called customer service and I'm still waiting on a representative after almost 20 minutes.

One of our local production compaines exclusively uses them. It's lame.

Seems shady.

TheGhostOfRandySavage
I know the struggle of the accidental super like. It's the worst. In other news, started talking to a mega babe that works at a funeral home. I need to find out if the John knows her. Other than that I'm going to the coast to hit the casino today. Time to spin some records before I head out. Morning folks! What's her name/which funeral home? PM me that shit!
Youinreverse
That sucks. Were they supposed to mail them to you/email them? Seems shady. Yeah, I paid $3.50 extra to have physical tickets mailed. I hate how some ticketing companies don't send until the week before. I guess I just don't understand the reasoning behind it. I just got my tickets to see The National at Red Rocks in the mail today, and that show isn't until July 31st. Why can't all companies send the tickets the week they're ordered? Bladewillisisdead
I mean, Hollywood vampires aren't the best thing but alice is cool in my book. just seems like something he'd do. being in something terrible shouldn't be a problem as he was in NiRvAnA... edit: had to fix post to show sarcasm. Johnny Depp is sooooo bad at guitar. Like, I know it's because he's always drunk and he's too rich for anyone to tell him "no, stop that shit" but still. We got high the other day and watched videos of him performing with bands and like half the time you can tell they've pretty much turned his amp off. Lucky! Looks like it's $193 if I drive from Philly to DC to get it done in person. The additional costs are for doing it through mail (Generations Visa Services - Gate 1 recommended it)

NapalmBrain
new turntable and acquired. The open box DC was broken, ended up going for an open box DC Esprit for $479. Just got it set up and giving it the first spin and I'm very pleased. I made them align the cartridge before I left. I figured for $79 over a regular DC, I'd get the speed box (and I play a lot of 45s) and the acrylic platter. Now I have to chill on my spending, but I'm excited

Guest
Glad your enjoying the upgrade. Did it come with a 2M red cart? I don't get why sometimes when I pay with paypal, it sends my payment as an e-check and others normal. Just noticed my CYLS order was an e-check, that finally cleared today. Shitty paypal.
