If you've made this work with the backordered record not shipping and getting a code, post your story. Even if you already have, I wanna see then so I can compile. How many records? What records? How many orders? Payment method? How many codes received? When received the codes? And any other question you feel needs answered. Cripes, don't do this. Odd., Circa Survive - Blue Sky Noise, Fall Out Boy - Folie A Deux and The Rooftops - A Forest of Polarity all in the same order this weekend. Then I saw people say that they had to be separate orders to get separate credits, so a couple days later I put an order in for Folie and a separate order in for Rooftops. I checked them today, the single rooftops still says backordered, the order with the 4 records still have all 4 labeled as backordered, but the order with just Folie now has a green checkmark in the processed part (all others have a yellow warning sign ! thing), and says that the order can't be cancelled. It seems like they're starting to get smart about it haha they've taken FNL off of the site and changed Panic! to only available for in store pickup. So you won't be able to do it with those two anymore. They've also made Circa Survive - Blue Sky Noise unavailable on online. I went ahead and placed two more orders that probably wont fill* (still have one other back-ordered item that I'm waiting on the $10 coupon for). *But, I'd be stoked if they did. Here's what I'm doing every time I get a coupon... As soon as the code comes in, I'm finding an album for $12.99 or less that I really want and ordering it.
