azvd
I would be surprised if they're not 180g. SL's been choosing this format for almost everything they put out. deletedunknown
radiatorhums
Got my white copy of Hex in yesterday. My A side has some real loud noise on every rotation for the first couple minutes. I can't see any visible signs of damage or warping, so I'm not sure what's going on there. I'm going to send SL an email to see if I can get a replacement disc. Anyone else have this issue? Past that, the release sounds very good. I would be surprised if they're not 180g. SL's been choosing this format for almost everything they put out. I weighed one of the discs out of curiosity and it came out at 167g.
TheGhostOfRandySavage
I keep hoping they'll announce that they got Bees in and are ready to ship those! Good looking out on the vinyl weight, thanks much.
JRHews
Disappointing it's not 180g but damn this overall package is nice.
Twistedshabazz
was there shipping confirms on these? also guessing if you bought both they will ship both at the same time?
Derek™
Disappointing it's not 180g but damn this overall package is nice. I was kind of iffy on the white vinyl, but I've been told that it sounds great outside of faint surface noise on side D. And aesthetically, I think it goes really well with the old-timey photographs. 8ight
USPS FTW. Should have my copy of Hex later this morning. Only two days shipping, too... and that's going from the west coast to the east coast.
CaptainHerbalLife
Sooooo.....the tenth studio album of Earth titled Primitive and Deadly will grace our ears come September. This year is way too good for records.
markok
There is already a new thread made for it. For me, personally, they have gone in circles for a long time now, I just need "Bees Made Honey..." (dont know why I didnt bought it back then) and Im probably good with this band for a long time.
8ight
MOTHER FUCKERS. Mailman delivered my Southern Lord package... to the wrong apt. Fucking dunce. I even went out and bought some beer for the very purpose of listening to this album this afternoon. Bastards.
IG88
^ that's what you get for preemptively praising the USPS.
8ight
Heh, I've never had problems with them before. It's FedEx that usually farts around and can't seem to tie their own shoes. But yea... you're right. Though I can still give props to USPS, it's just my local mailman that blows.
iwokeinrelief
It's been a long time since I ordered from SL directly, but damn they've gotten great at packing records. Almost everything I used to get from them had corner dings thanks to lousy packing, but the corner guards they're using now are great. Sleeve is absolutely perfect. Now I need my kids to go to sleep so I can throw the headphones on...

74R
I could be wrong and I'm not that bright but I think there are 2 copies of the Gold album on blue left and one copy of the gold vinyl in the shop now. Black is sold out. I have no idea since this seems to keep changing. https://www.districtlines.com/Earth
CaptainHerbalLife
If anyone in Europe still wants to put their paws on the golden wax, here's a pre-order option available through Germany. It will amount to quite a price for a single LP once the shipping is added on top of it but those living in Germany can get a more reasonable deal. I think this might the only distro carrying it. http://www.hhv.de/shop/en/item/drcarlsonalbion-ost-gold-colored-vinyl-edition-368753
