Punkrockcomicart
I don't think I have ever met a single person who actually likes Bob Dylan. Feel free to prove me wrong, but he is notorious for having a voice that induces headaches.Live at Budokan is a phenomenal live album. But when it comes to Dylan, he's a better writer than a performer. I love most covers of his songs. As for me, here's the ones that really stick out: Metallica, really it's only Lars I can't stand, but I'm not that into metal to begin with. The only Led Zeppelin song I really like is Fool in the Rain. Nirvana. I get what they did for music, just don't care. I did have an eye out for this year's RSD 7" but only for potential tradebait. No luck finding it tho. Pink Floyd KISS AC/DC
kurtz
Hot Topic Disney soundtracks I mean, The Little Mermaid was cool when I was 7, but I just don't find myself jonesin' to listen to Under The Sea in 2014.
kurtz
seriously though, the only band that I want to get into, but just doesn't click with me is Minutemen.
topher
Muse. Their album art is always great, giving the illusion that there's something remarkable on the record. Shame.

omik11303
Brand New - Deja Entendu Just...nothing. Like a 2/5. Oh, and Self Defense Family. I made it like 15 seconds into "Holy Trend" and just bagged it. Same with "Try Me." Terrible.

jhulud
The Smiths. And Morrisey for that matter. Can't stand either. Tried as much as I did to give them a shot and while not into them, more dumbfounded at the people who are all ga-ga over them. Meh.

Green Tea Papi
Gaslight Anthem, they sound just so very boring to me.
weinerdog
Imagine Dragons. Maybe its in part because NBC has been jamming 'Radioactive' down the throats of hockey fans for a month. They sound like a 3rd rate Coldplay (who are terrible themselves)
easytiger
There are so many bands that I've tried to like but to no avail: Pearl Jam and throw Nirvana in there too. Maybe you had to be there at their most popular. Watching Twenty helped some, listening to VS was enlightening, but overall just can't do it. They're such a fiercely loved band that I feel like it should be easier to enjoy them as a whole.

easytiger
Converge is another one that I really tried to get into after liking All We Love We Love Behind. I figure that if I can't do Jane Doe then it's a hopeless cause. I will say that I'm a fan of what Bannon's doing with Deathwish though. easytiger
Triple on the Smiths and Morrissey, too. I will be beet red the day someone asks me which is my favorite record of his/theirs. Johnny Marrs's newest record is ace, that's about all I can muster in appreciation of the Smiths.
Punkrockcomicart
So we have a thread for popular bands we don't like, is there one for terrible bands we love?
mpitts
How has no one mentioned Pink Floyd?!? That's what I came into this thread to post. I don't get it. I have tried. Over and over. I attribute it to the lack of drug use in my life because they are just awful to me.
Cartoongraveyard
Blood Brothers, sorry
Fairmount
Pearl Jam and Soundgarden for sure. Everyone around me loves them, and I know a few songs, but can't stand most of it. Oh and Green Day, The Wonder Years and Blink-182. They all are heavy hitters in the Pop-Punk game, but I can't get behind any of them at all. I dont enjoy most Pop-Punk, but I've tried extensively for these and they stand out the most for me. However "Cul-De-Sac" is a good Wonder Years song. mike_eppenbro
Nirvana, Pink Floyd, and The Beatles all immediately come to mind, for me. As far as more current stuff: The Black Keys, The National, and The Weeknd. Wouldn't say I'm embarrassed, though. I've given all of them a fair shot but it just hasn't clicked. Edit: Also, EDM. No particular artist.. Just. All of it.
videogamesandvinyl
Although I am a fan of a few Bright Eyes albums, I dont get the intense love for Conor Oberst. I feel like the dude is over rated.
Bladew1ll1s1sdead
Blood Brothers, sorryOuch. Favorite band forever. I woke up and put Crimes on. They're definitely not for everybody.
