for the record, i think stinkypeanuts is essentially the eBay account of good records in dallas, tx, an indie record store that tends to get a lot of buzz in that part of the country.

... a/k/a Discogs sellers stevegamboa, I think.   Good prices, prompt shipping.   What's not to like?

some patrons might say the prices on the records for sale in the mortar and brick store, lol.  kinda steep, generally speaking (though some deals are to be found)...

...but ya gotta cover overhead somehow, right?   on the other hand, they tend to get their paws on a decent amount of copies of limited run items...so there's that.

it just seemed odd to me to say less than $5 when it didn't cost less than $5. you pay what you pay. shipping is still part of the cost.

The record itself cost less than $5. Their shipping would've been the same had I bought a $5 record or a $25 record.

You missed the point again. It's cool. Congrats on your less than $5 record and your more than $2 nothing.

picked up Conor Oberst's "Upside Down Mountain" from this guy for $16 shipped. Pretty sweet deal, I know it's like 30$+ retail most places.

Stop by your local UO...

I just got the Angus OST for $1.25 and Mike Posner At Night, Alone for $7.50. They are having an extra 40% off on all sale vinyl this weekend and there's a good selection out.

Thanks for the heads up, picked up R.E.M. - Green and Public Enemy - Fear of a Black Planet for $15
