I'm pretty sure it was last year. August 2023 at least. That's when they had an Olivia Rodrigo exclusive. I don't think they've had many exclusives and I don't know if vinyl is in stores again. The newest Motionless in White album was overall unlistenable so I'm with you. I had to skip almost every song when I was giving it a chance. Never been a Poppy fan but even her old fans aren't with her as much as they used to be.

We can start taking bets on when it'll ship. I'm thinking mid to late July (or never). At least that variant looks cool.

I acknowledge that this is a real stretch, but this new song and video has vibes of the Concubine song/video by Converge. Both random gals wearing a white dress and the overall sound. Good song, but Converge is better. LOL.

I first heard Dreamhouse because the guy who runs Dark Descent Records (home of Spectral Voice, Blood Incantation, and other OSDM revival stuff that rules) was posting something about it, and all of the trv3 kvlt kydz were losing their fucking minds over this band not being "real metal" in the comments. I want to say it was a Pitchfork article, I'm not even sure if the whole album had come out yet. But I 1000% remember exactly where i was and what i was doing when I heard that first major chord come in under the blastbeats, and i was like "What the FUCK is this!!!!!" I was hooked instantly. Fuck the trends. Fuck the trv3 kvlt losers. I still love Darkthrone and Emperor and Entombed and I love Deafheaven and Phish and the Grateful Dead too. Fuck all of the boundaries and rules. Music rules.
