I see this coming up across the forums. A lot of VC folks are hurting and not everyone has the support or feels comfortable utilizing the support immediately in front of them. I wanted to create a place for people to go in need of advice or education on mental health or tips on mitigating stress. The general stance towards mental health is sickening to me, so many people suffer at one point or another in their life and the attitude is so apathetic towards the afflicted. So if you need a space to discuss any of the above, I hope this could be a supportive corner of the boards, and minimize the alienation or negative comments from certain users by people trying to discuss this in non-related threads. If people don't feel comfortable talking publically, also know my inbox is always open to anyone and it will be a private conversation.

Complaints against Christensen in Eps 1-3 were warranted because he was a shit actor with 0 chemistry. Driver was fine. His scenes were believable, and done well enough.
 
The rest of it is writing. You're not supposed to like the guy that throws temper tantrums, orders innocent villagers to be slaughtered, and kills his own father and our old friend Han...
 
Do I think he could have kept his helmet on a little more? Sure. But if you're gonna hate on Kylo at least have specifics that can't be tied directly to the writing. He can only say and do the things that are written for him. And we are forced to believe at the first installment of four that they are written that way for a reason.
 
Can't really dislike a character or the way a character was done until you've seen the whole set of movies. Maybe there's a reason for everything. If not, let's roast him.

That splash page is a "new media" internet marketing solution to people googling "is VNYL a scam?" All the keywords are there- is, VNYL, a, scam- and I'm guessing they are trying to appear on the first page of those results and have some control over the info people get.
Then the content of the landing page is some soulless, post-post-appropriated-hipsterism detached irony bullshit that only people on the outside of the sincere, authentic original movement think is funny or irreverent or cool. Like someone who saw Borat in 2005 and their takeaway was saying "ITS A NICE! I LIKE! MY WIFE!" loudly is what was funny about the character and missing the context and satirical message behind the most annoying, surface parts of the movie.
This detached response to controversy is usually utilized by lower status groups deflecting authority and marginalizing the higher status group's power. Here, however, it's being used by a for-profit company that pissed off its paying customers in a "haters gonna hate" subtext and it feels like they think they are as cool and funny as counter-culture rebels telling authority and the mainstream to go kick rocks.

I feel like if you truly like them, you kinda have to just go with he fact that they're full of themselves to an incredible degree. I mean, any band the names themselves Titus Andronicus and uses the American Civil War as a metaphor for painful, personal toil has to sorta be full of themselves, right? To me, the amazing thing is that more often then not they pull it off.
