You folks might want to hold out. There's apparently a Sam Goody 'Goody Got it' exclusive on the way. Circuit City is said to have an upcoming version as well. 

While I 100% agree with @jrodan and wouldn't do what you did, I understand why you did it. If I ran a business of any kind, I'd look for every way to save some $. Unfortunately the USPS can't make "profits" or anything of the sort and are in a kind of stranglehold. If they had to cut delivery to a few days a week, I'd be alright I guess, but I'd really like to maintain the status quo. So, I've been trying to buy and sell as much as I can/ want.  @Shitty Rambo
If we still had downvotes, I wouldn't downvote anyone over this, but I do think that we'd all be broke as fuck without the USPS. Ever tried to ship a record with UPS? Fucking costly.

perhaps the optics of taking advantage of a program that is in the news for being on the cusp of being shutdown aren't that great. i have personally been buying stamps and packing materials at my local p.o. because i dont want to lose the service. maybe watch this and see if it makes you feel like you should maybe reconsider your "sticking it to the federal government" mentality.

As far as getting the feedback removed, unless you can convince the buyer to reverse it, you’re fucked. eBay honors the buyers opinion  regardless of how idiotic it actually is. 
 
I sold off my funko collection a few months ago. Some of them were pretty valuable, $75-$100 bucks. Someone claimed one of them was a fake (I guess China makes some shitty bootlegs of the valuable ones, this was news to me). Left me negative feedback without even contacting me first. I messaged him explaining it’s not, going as far as digging up my receipt from an old email from 6 years ago. Dude would not be convinced. I called eBay and fought it tooth and nail. They basically said that’s the buyers opinion and he has the right to leave negative feedback.
 
I came to terms with it and went on with my life. Months later he messages me apologizing saying he took it to a professional collector and he confirmed it was indeed not a fake lol. And then he removed the feedback.
 
People are fuckin clowns. As for the refund, you’re correct. He would have to file a claim and then it’s for eBay/PayPal to decide. And delayed shipping (even though you really weren’t that late) is not enough for him to get a refund. So don’t sweat that.

I would live your best life, call eBay on the phone when you have time, and just relay that you believe the feedback is unwarranted and why. If you have extra time and they tell you “no”, hang up and call back a few times until you find someone who gets your situation. In the end, if they still won’t remove it, I’d just offer a good riddance to the whole thing and enjoy seeing the negative feedback fade from the 1 month column to the 6 month column and then, eventually, out of view. eBay and Discogs buyers can drive you wild if you try and meet them in their arena of dumbness. Build up that zen brain for when you get an especially zany one. ✌🏽

Yeah I would contact ebay for sure.  That's bullshit.  They're probably looking for ebay to give them a refund.
 
I've found that about 1 in 10 buyers on ebay are a pain in the ass lately.  I had a guy knowingly buy a bootleg from me, and then complained to ebay that it was a boot and that there was a crease in the jacked.  I sent him a few messages saying he can return it butnever heard back.  I guess ebay issued him a full refund.  Some times it's not even really worth the time with the ebay fees, paypal fees, and dealing with shitty people.  I now take pictures of every step of packing a record

I'll try and attend at least one of these dates but it's not just about the limited releases for me anymore. The last 5 years or so I've taken my Dad to a couple of shops and we grab a beer and lunch after. We don't stand in line or anything, we tend to shop in the afternoon and usually there's a RSD release or 2 we were looking for along with some used stuff we end up grabbing. If we miss anything I just go online and grab them on discogs the week after.  My Mom has even started framing the exclusive RSD posters my Dad picks up while we're out. So yeah, it's become more of a father and son thing over the years, which is awesome and we both look forward to it every year.
