I received my Pizza Underground 7" and Frank OST today from Turntable Lab, a bit annoyed with them. Frank arrived in an Amazon prime box for some reason, seemed to be in good condition and was sealed but the record itself is really scratched up. Listening to it right now to see if its playable. The PU 7" was shipped separately in a padded envelope. somehow there are no bends or anything, but that's the best they can do?

not to derail the thread but Amazon.ca just notified me that they can't ship déjà but they're "still trying". I wish shops in Canada where cheaper, this is like the 7th preorder Amazon has dropped the ball on this year (bjork and it follows were all failures as well). it's probably a good thing that I don't really give a shit if I get it, the album is ok but nothing special. I'll go and hide now.

I mean, I could understand the price of they were based in Canada. shipping a single LP is around $12, increase the weight with multiple records, product and packaging costs, labor & overhead, $24 would be about right for this shit with minimal profit. with media mail in the U.S. being what, $4 though? this is a massive ripoff.

I just picked up my delivery today and got the same thing... are they making you send it back? I can only get to my PO box every couple weeks so that's a bit of a hassle.

I'll probably pick up the repress even though I have the original press, but I really hope TR steps up their packing. my LFY box set was stomped to death, the records were ok but the box itself was destroyed. TR eventually found another numbered outer slip that they sent me, which was cool, but even that was pretty banged up when it arrived. the single LP also had a bent corner when I got it too.

Amazon is now saying this has been pushed back to Aug. 14th. Weak.

I'd really like the soundtrack on vinyl, but without the box/picturedisc/posters/book/DVD (seriously, its 2015, why is this not bluray?). Hopefully there's a standalone version too.

Same, here, just about had a damn heart attack. Loaf is probably my favourite band of all time and I hate it that I never got to see them live, a new album would have been amazing. I'll keep my eye on this though and probably get it to be a completionist. I see they're doing few shows, it would make my life if they came to Vancouver or at least Seattle so I could make my way down there, but I don't see that happening.

Still want to find copies of ST and Odd Soul if I can find them for a reasonable price. the second album wasn't very good at all so hopefully the fourth is on the level of 1 & 3.

I got a delivery estimate of May 8th-15th from Amazon.ca, usually not a good sign given my last few preorders that repeatedly had delivery dates pushed back.

yeah, just got my cancellation for Debut, Post, Medulla & Vespertine (plus a "we're still trying" email for the It Follows OST). I was only able to get Homogenic from .ca and Biophelia from .com. I might try to source these locally at some point but know they'll be twice the price so I'm not in a rush to pick them up.

Yeah, Biophilia shipped from amazon today for me as well, and I got Homogenic from amazon.ca a couple days ago. still nothing on any possible ship date for the others. I'm in no rush to get them, but I'd at least like to get Debut and Post at some point.

another Canadian classic that is maybe my #1 vinyl want from the 90s is Spookey Ruben's Modes of Transportation Vol. 1. Never got pressed but was up as a tier reward on his indiegogo campaign to fund Modes vol. 3.
