TheWindBlower
On the fence for this. Will probably preorder, but hope the rest of the album is a little better.
KJL95
Wow. Absolutely different. I like this new sound. It feels like PBTT broke up and formed a new band with the same members. Can't wait to hear the rest
fugazi
I really dig that sound
drewberinger
this song is easily one of the best songs this band has ever written. swinx and snacks4all

dvv
I am all for progression in music but I just can't enjoy this. The old vocals were what made me love this band. Liimpan and Hungrydinoz
Shelby
I haven't listened but if it's similar to Hiding I'm in.

Sugar Shane
New song is good, glad they're progressing. I hope there's some songs on this record that make me want to go up front and scream every lyric at a show like before.
smeepo
Wow, this song is great. My favorite song by these guys has been Hiding. Never could really get into much of anything else. I'm surprised there's hardly any harsh vocals in this new song.
Bladewillisisdead
I loved Hiding but think the new one is just ok. I doubt they'll top The Lack Long After, that album was just insane and intensely emotional. Luckily saw them twice around when TLLA came out and was able to scream all the words. Even saw them before they recorded that album so I've seen them play Houses We Die In. Fridge Fox and poweredbytrust
jasonslfl
Please don't let this song be indicative of the album as a whole.....potentially would've liked this song if another band wrote it, but this is not what i was expecting/wanting from PBTT. Meh.
parkinglot
TLLA is one of my favorite records of all time, so honestly, I'm expecting this to disappoint.
faceghost
Song is pretty mediocre but I can't wait to hear the album in full either way, I can't imagine every song being this slow. Also I see that there's a page for them in the Epitaph store already. I'm betting pre-orders go up this week.
carryonkid
Digging the song but, boy, does it loose it's power thanks to the flat, kinda muddy production. Generally, I like Will Yip, but he is a terrible fit for them and this song is proof.
xfactor675
Eh I mean he has IN MY OPINION ruined Title Fight, La Dispute, and Circa Survive. this x10000 seriously how could anyone still trust/believe in this guy?? Let's hope Die on Stage won't be ruined...
Derek™
Whoever nonchalantly coined the term Yipcore in the B&C thread is my hero. Their username eludes me, but it's definitely a real thing and a term I'm so very often compelled to use. I mean at some point you guys have to realize that bands evolve and change their sound. They chose for their music to go in this direction. They chose Will Yip as a producer. For example I detest the new Fall Out Boy record, but they chose to make their record sound like that and as much as i want to hate Butch Walker in the end it is the band who writes the music and wants to change it up. You cant just vilify one producer because one of your favorite bands wanted to change their sound. Maybe he was one of the few producers who would let them experiment and take the path they wanted to take. Loving this new song...cant wait for the pre-order Tom Delonge's UFO, swinx, YouLoveHisWife and 1 other
alogical
Obviously he does something right if everyone is suddenly using him to produce their records. I enjoy a good amount of the stuff bands have done with him, don't really get all the hate either. swinx
dantheriver
Seems to me like Yip is producing a lot of young bands. These kids grow, mature, make different sounding music. Nobody talked shit on that Braid album, probably because those guys settled into their sound a decade ago.
