KingTacoMunster
What a bummer. We lost a legend today. What's your favorite Craven film?

Rip
So sad... R.I.P. Nightmare On Elm Street is and forever will be my favorite of his.
KingTacoMunster
I grew up watching the nightmare series when I was 4 or 5. As a parent, kinda makes me question my mom but now I just thank her. I mean his first movie was last house on the left, if that's your first one then damn you know you're going to have a great future in the horror biz. Bladewillisisdead
One of my favorite stories about anything ever is how he got an R rating for Last House on the Left. No matter what he did he kept getting an X rating so he submitted a cut that took out almost all the gore, got the R rating, and then attached it to his original (X rated) cut of the film. pizza face
I love Nightmare on Elm street. Freddy is probably my favorite movie character ever created. So sad. I really hope some amazing screenplay pops up from his estate though. This man was a genius.

turnstiles
Scream were the only scary movies I wanted to watch as a kid, the humour in them made me less afraid. I'm deathly afraid of scary movies to this day, but I can appreciate what this man did for the genre.
