THEY SHIPPED THIS WITHOUT ANY SHRINK WRAPPING/SLEEVES? Man, fuck that, I was going to keep mine sealed for a while. And then the packaging is nothing special / leaves out important details? Way to blow it, Solid State, wow.

Them liner notes are looking sick. Get them band approved and I want one!

It's hard to tell through just text...but this is entirely sarcasm, yes?

Actually, not sarcasm, sorry. I was going to keep it wrapt because it sounded like the packaging was a little on the flimsy side, and I didn't want to open it until I was around my set-up, which I'm currently not. Also the lack of insert/ not including the coolest part of the artwork in here / having the title-sticker on the actual cover is pretty disappointing. Seems a little half-baked for a $33 pressing, ya know?

Title-sticker? The title is just part of the cover artwork. It's not a sticker?

I don't think it's flimsy enough to need to be shrink wrapped until it gets to a shelf... it's not anything super special but it's pretty average imo.

On the CD, it was a sticker, so the artwork was just the painting, not the title or anything. So I was hoping that the title part would just be a sticker on shrink-wrap, not on the artwork itself. And mine is came a tiny bit mangled on the edges, something that would have definitely not happened if they had just put it in a plastic sleeve or something. Also, if they're going to ship them without shrink-wrap, why not keep the records out of the jackets like most people do? Like c'mon.

Just picked up SILYAYD! Cant wait to display these two with my 10 year tour poster!

Woah, from where?

Or you could play them?

Not that I'm in favor of framing records and not playing them, but to play devil's advocate couldn't they just have meant they want to display the gatefold/sleeve and the records would still be stored somewhere in a manner of being played? Just because someone frames a record doesn't mean they aren't listening to it still.
