PO: DANZIG Skeletons

Recommended Posts

Oh, I hope he covers Bowie. That would be frickin' hilarious.

Taken from Wikipedia, but I assume the vinyl track listing is the same.

  1. "Devil's Angels" (Dave Allan & The Arrows)
  2. "Satan" (Theme from "Satan's Sadists")
  3. "Let Yourself Go" (Elvis Presley)
  4. "N.I.B." (Black Sabbath)
  5. "Lord Of The Thighs" (Aerosmith)
  6. "Action Woman" (The Litter / Nuggets)
  7. "Rough Boy" (ZZ Top)
  8. "With A Girl Like You" (The Troggs)
  9. "Find Somebody" (The Rascals)
  10. "Crying In The Rain" (The Everly Brothers)

Danzig stopped putting out good music in 1990, or at least that's when I stopped caring about his new music. I can't imagine how bad this must be.

EDIT - I guess this is a covers album. Even worse.

I dug everything through IV....that track Brand New God off of IV is fucking great

Seeing him on Sunday...got a ticket on Groupon....Danzig...groupon....hilarious to me

I loved the first record when it came out (holy crap, that was 27 years ago.  I'm old as fuck).  I was kind of "eh" on the second.  By the third one, I was over it.

His voice is completely shot, now.

Sincerely one of te best live shows I've ever seen. Played the Elvis cover followed by "Devil's Angels" which he apparently arranged this version of in '79 and then the Sabbath cover, which was basically the exact same song with Glen instead of Ozzy and an absurd amount of pinch harmonics added in.

Saw Danzig smile last night. I don't feel many get to see him smile onstage.

Gonna see him on Saturday. Now I'm even more psyched.
