Bladewillisisdead
I guess I've just worked with too many "There's no REAL music anymore!" hicks who only listen to classic rock. I'm glad to find I'm not alone in hating Pink Floyd
DarcX
I would've been able to sit through all of The Dark Side of the Moon if the fucking vocals actually changed it up once. And if the instrumentals were less boring. I don't like Pink Floyd either.

WAXXX
would prefer to take at least 100 albums to a desert island. would also want to take some albums released within the past 5 years. also i'm assuming we are alone on the island. if we are with others on the island, i would revise this heavily to include more party music. aphex twin - richard d. james album black sabbath - paranoid david bowie - low the field - from here we go sublime funkadelic - maggot brain outkast - aquemini pink floyd - meddle pixies - doolittle radiohead - kid a ween - the mollusk

HoneyFrosted
It's difficult to rank albums now, even though I used to try to do it all the time. Stuff is constantly changing and it's rare that an album really stays with me overtime through a lot of life livin. I'll do my best. Stnnng- Dignified Sissy Bibio - Ambivalence Avenue Caddywhompus - The Weight The Books - The Lemon Of Pink The Growlers - Are You In Or Out? Tobacco - Maniac Meat The Twilight Sad - Fourteen Autumns And Fifteen Winters Mr. Oizo - Moustache (Half A Scissor) Daniel Johnston - 1990 Them, Roaring Twenties - Future Sandwich That'll probably have to do for now. Good to see The Field gettin some love. I'm not really a big fan of Pink Floyd either. Nothing really wrong with em, they just don't seem as mind-bendingly awesome as everyone has always said they were. WAXXX

brandy
this list is sick! Thanks man! I was kinda self-conscious about my list because it seemed pretty bland relative to everyone else's. But glad you like it!
GreatGreenOne77
God dammit. That was too funny. Do you listen to Rollins radio show at all? It's really good. I do when I can, and once in a while I can actually talk the wife into listening or watching one of his talking gigs with me, but most time I'm alone with my Rollins love (aside from my stepdaughter who's 19 and wants to drool over his muscles and tattoos until he starts yelling lol)

GreatGreenOne77
Finally some FFaF in a list! Awesome! I'm not even a fan of that band and I give them respect simply for taking that name from an Elton John song
brandy
Finally some FFaF in a list! Awesome! Yep, been listening to both Casually Dressed and Hours for years. Love both to death! For what it's worth, Hours would probably be in my top 15 albums as well. I was kinda disappointed when I saw the band twice earlier this year while travelling Europe, and they only played 3 songs from Casually Dressed..(Storytelling, Bend Your Arms and Juneau)?! No Rookie Of The Year, no Escape Artists, no Bullet Theory, no Red Is The New Black.... And also based on the board's tastes, I'd really expected them to be much more popular around here. Probably because they don't tour the states as much maybe.
