Polyvinyl Record Co.
Holy cow! Braid's incredible third album, Frame and Canvas, is now available on limited edition picture disc! Recorded by J. Robbins (Jawbox/Burning Airlines) at Inner Ear studios in December 1997, Braid's leaner, more focused sound on the album was in direct correlation to the band's constant and prolific touring. Features the bombastic crowd pleaser "The New Nathan Detroits," the lovesick math rock dance anthem "A Dozen Roses," and the shimmery mini-epic of "I Keep a Diary." Limited to 330 numbered copies and packaged in a sturdy, crystal clear sleeve with protective flap. I'll take this over other labels habit of doing 7 different pressings of the same record all of amounts less than 1000, within a years time. bridley
Despite picking up the 2004 tour variant on the 2004 tour, I kind of want this .
Sad Heart
https://bandboxrocks.com/products/braid-frame-and-canvas 25th year anniversary. Assuming we’re gonna get more (probably via Polyvinyl) later when they do the announcement.
yes chef
They took the link down already. Hmm. But it's $45 for a color pressing and this 7-inch. 1 hour ago, Sad Heart said: https://bandboxrocks.com/products/braid-frame-and-canvas 25th year anniversary. ParallelofDeath
Love this record. Already have the OG pressings of F&C and the 7" (which should also still be relatively affordable), but highly recommend picking this up if you're at all into 90s emo and don't have it yet. xfactor675
So a 30-dollar single LP is a thing now at polyvinyl too. Also the BV variant is cheaper than at the label, what the hell is going on?? Glad I bought the blue/silver a dew years ago. ParallelofDeath
That TP edition is very neat. Pricey, but tempting.

Looks like the BV is using the original mix opposed to the new remix, so theirs is just like the clear pressing from a while back. They should make that a little more clear. Confirmed via BV on Twitter. Edited February 23, 2023 by Sad Heart

The Polyvinyl one also has a "full-size 12-page booklet with lyrics, rare photos and new liner notes from each band member", which would definitely drive up the price a few bucks from your standard 2-sided insert. And the BV version isn't an anniversary one or whatever if it's the original mix, it's just a regular repress that happens to be announced the same day, lol

dreamover
If you don't care about the remaster, Polyvinyl still has a cool blue/silver variant of frame & canvas for $21. https://polyvinylrecords.com/product/frame_and_canvas It's not like the record was/is hard to find.
