Thanks though I know it'll be bad... almost as bad as this new Tswift album. konk

Mean Girls beat has an extra bass hit on the & of 4 that Swifts beat doesnt. Lol
jhulud
After finishing up putting shutters & hurricane prep, I got pretty silly drunk & listened to "...Ready For It?" a few times. I got that feeling about it when back in '99 it was revealed that Dr.Dre collaborated with Trent Reznor on tracks of The Fragile. That was a weird comparison. justincb
It's not that short shorts or fake glasses are bad, it's just that they don't go together very well. I would rather see some real country outta her then this pop-type stuff.

Snaggle Von Swift
Third track. Some of the lyrics are borderline cringe-worthy.

dawhizz
This whole album seems to have a chorus problem. tape

timsimmons
I like it. I don't think its really that far removed from her earlier stuff and I think an acoustic version of this track would prove that. I think singles 2 and 3 have been pretty good. nardes
jhulud
Have to wait til I get home from work to listen to "Gorgeous". I'm prepared to cringe and be disappointed.
slinch
Didn't pay attention to the lyrics, but musically it's pretty great. Max Martin can do no wrong lately.

slinch
I always unintentionally not pay attention to the lyrics. Might be because it's not my first language, but it also happens when I listen to songs sung in my first language. I have favourite songs I've heard hundreds of times and still don't know the details outside of the general theme. I can even sing along without focusing on the words' meanings, just their sounds. Dougie Jones
Dougie loves what Taylor is doing here. Keep putting it on. It had me dancing while I was drinking my morning coffee. jhulud and nardes
jhulud
Listened to "Gorgeous" a couple of times now that I'm home. I'm not hating it. It feels like an attempt at merging trip-hop with pop. The lyrics are a bit cheesy but overall I dig it. It's a more chill song than the previous two. As Tim mentioned...it'd sound great probably as a straight-up acoustic song.

It appears you didn't love it the same way Dougie loves it. jhulud
jhulud
Damnit. If Dougie loves it so much...then the rest of us can only perchance to dream to love it as much. I fail as a T-Swizzle fan. mmhmm

tape
considering how extremely amped I was for 1989 to come out and how good the last two albums have been, it's hard to describe how little interest I have in this one. "none" is a pretty quick approximation.
