On one hand it's way too much money for an LP, BUT if it were $20 it would sell out quickly and then flippers get the flip sale money that is in excess of what the band sold it for. If anyone is going to get the money for the art it should be the artist. I guess the solution is having it not be limited, but that will also discourage some buyers. If it were less limited/was a larger pressing so they could sell them for $20-25 I'd definitely grab one. It's just that the bands traditionally are not in a position to take that sort of risk. and it's not always the entirety of a fanbase willing to spend that much.
