distinctlydustin
Meh, I think if you're gonna post a picture of a collection it should at least have a few variants, it's hardly a collection if you only have one of everything. This logic. I'm so lost. I know it's some people's thing, but it doesn't have to be from everyone else.

elnombre91
This logic. I'm so lost. I know it's some people's thing, but it doesn't have to be from everyone else. OK, in hindsight maybe my comment was a bit rash. My main point is that a collection (be it band/label specific, whatever) is something that takes time, effort and dedication (as well as money) to put together, and OK not everyone wants to collect variants, but I think a couple of 7"s and LPs hardly counts as a collection. Fair enough?

Fair enough? The fact that the collection is all releases should be satisfactory enough to count as a collection. This may be a small collection, but that's not the collectors fault. Also, this collection probably wasn't cheap to acquire. So there's that logic. bermudanc94

Fair enough? I've put a lot of effort and time (and way too much money) in my JEW collection even without collecting every single variant and I'm sure others did as well with their collections. Fair enough? Don't really care what you think, but if someone has a few 7" and LP's and calls it a collection then that's what it is. It's a fucking hobby, not a competition. Also, a little curious. How many releases does a band have to release in order for people to collect them? What's legit? bermudanc94 and bathroommonkey

Fair enough? Surely a collection is something someone has collected regardless of how complete it is? So people have more money to spend then other? Also everyone's interpretation of a "collection" is different. These collections are fellow collectors pride and joy and all they're doing is sharing their collection (Regardless of size) to fellow collectors who appreciate that sort of thing? We all had to start somewhere, right? Fair enough? I think so ajhall04, thesewoodenideas, openupyourskull and 1 other

aflycon
I have a lot of Ralph Lauren socks but I don't have every argyle pattern (I took a pass on pink/green). Do I therefore not have a collection of Ralph Lauren socks? Food for thought.
