Dusted_By_Space
$50 on Bruce Springsteen, The Rising. Well worth the $50 at a local record store (Deep Groove) because I had been eying it on ebay for over $100 for quite sometime. Lucky man, i never see the rising, or tom joad for that matter, for less than a hundo. Nice score man.
openupyourskull
$120 for The Horrors - Strange House. Besides that, I think it's $32 for an OP of Radiohead's Hail to the Thief and a few other records that were $29.99 retail.

emptyhanded
$100 for YFW, this was a few years ago before the repress. I'd never spend that much on a record again ajismetal
PostVillasBlues2K
$65 for Identity Crisis by Thrice. That album defined my awkward, pimply first year of high school.
Guest
$30 for an English copy of Ace of Spades by Motorhead. The American version's tracklisting is all messed up. Not putting the song "Ace of Spades" 1st and not closing with "The Hammer" is just wrong.
futures
I'm fairly certain I haven't spent more than $75 on a record, which was Jimmy Eat World's Clarity on black. Original pressing.

Guest
For real, I have no idea why that Mad Money dude doesn't report on record pricing because its definitely a lucrative and mostly untapped field for investment. I've got a good portfolio of Brand New and Blink-182 records going. Might start investing in The Gaslight Anthem and The Wonder Years too. Rip
I think the most I paid was around $90. Whatever the retail cost was for the first pressing of The Dear Hunter - Color Spectrum box-set.
monsterrod
I recently spent $50 on that goddamned Django Unchained soundtrack. That'll be the most I ever spent on a record. While I realize that I have been ripped off, I fucking loved that movie. EDIT: Nope, just remembered spending somewhere between $65-$90 each on my Pig Destroyer clear variants from Relapse. I'm a sucker just like everyone else here, apparently. Come on though, fucking /100 Pig Destroyer? What was I supposed to do? withengineheart
