Not to get into all this again, but I can attest to my copy having a solid layer of noise over the song to the point where it is completely unlistenable. It's code for OOP. In my experience, Music Direct puts up "awaiting repress" when they actually know a repress is coming. I checked with them over a few items some time ago, and they said that when the manufacturer tells them there will be a repress, they put "awaiting repress" up on the site. edit: and by that email jcllnsn posted above, the info looks correct.
