surfingsucks
So I have this strange tiny fetish. I go on runs just about every day. Nine times out of ten, I tend to just listen to a whole album as I'm running. Whatever it's length tends to dictate how long I carry on. I was just wondering if any of the others do the same. If so, any recomendations?
000000
We Are The Union - "Who We Are" is one of my go-to workout albums. Highly recommended.
thebiglebowski
I listen to lots of stuff when working out but my favorites are teenage bottlerocket and streetlight manifesto. Has to be something high-tempo.

Emo Revival
Do you have a portable turn table? I imagine running while holding a turntable would cause a lot of skips and probably ruin the record
AlexH.
My running playlist is basically mainstream rap, 80s HxC, and lots of Battles. Sometimes I'll run to Fela Kuti, see how many full songs I can do. Also daily exercise is not a fetish.

kidamnesiac
LCD Soundsystem - 45:33 was actually released by Nike+ Run as an album "by a runner for runners." James Murphy later admitted he did it because no one else would pay for him to put out a 45 minute piece of avant garde electronic music and that running never really entered in to the picture for him. It's still a damn fine record to run to.

kyacrash
my running playlist is mostly all hardcore bands. Fast, short songs that make me want to kick stuff, great for running! Not so great for the gym though because of the need to wave your arms around like a crazy person.

I ran to Hatebreed, for me, perfect temp, loud as fuck, empowering lyrical content. it was perfect for me.....probably not anybody else though. additionally, this is definitely in the wrong part of the board
