Team Avatar
When was the last time you bought music, not including vinyl? Essentially, a CD // iTunes music? I've never bought music on iTunes, and the last CD I bought was probably two+ years ago. I don't really remember. I'm curious if anyone here still buys music or just buys records and DL's the rest like me.
bgdesign
When I get a iTunes gift card.....never my own money.
abovetheearth
Bought a few cds from mylene sheath a few years ago. Last batch I bought since at least a decade ago. Kept getting iTunes giftcards for gifts and have oner $90 on there. Bought post rock u can't find in vinyl on there. And a few other hard to find songs. Summary - CDs never, iTunes ( when giftcards is up) then vinyl is first and foremost
Guest
I buy albums that aren't on vinyl or are too expensive to buy on vinyl. I like having a physical copy regardless of format. I enjoy the art and liner notes. I think I bought a Sebadoh tour CD a few months ago.
One Hundred Fifty-Two
A lot of acts I am into give all their music away for free. If it is really good I'll give them a couple bucks from my paypal account as a donation.
billya
I will buy a CD from a smaller band at a show occasionally. I usually opt for vinyl though.

GradedOnACurve
I buy mp3s here and there. I buy used CDs here and there because I had thousands of mp3s disappear before.

smash2pieces
first option for something i really like is always vinyl, if not then i'll try to buy merch/go see them at shows to support. as far as itunes/digital stuff, only if i really really love it and there's not physical copies i can get of it (or if amazon gives me free mp3 credit!). konk
I don't have anywhere to buy vinyl close to me, so if there's something I want, I'll buy the cd (Kendrick Lamar/Converge). Also if it's not on vinyl yet (Masked Intruder).

crime
I bought an album about 10 minutes ago. I buy at least one album a week off of iTunes or Bandcamp. I've completely given up on downloading music for free.
nobodybrokeurheart
was drunk about a year ago at a party and desperately wanted to hear Jolene by Dolly Parton. Downloaded it on my itouch.
