nothingnatural
I'll continue beating the dead horse.... Don't like it, don't buy it. youspinmeround
Derek™
Do like it. Do enjoy it. Do want it. Just not $40-want-it. I'll throw another kick into that horse and continue to not buy it. museummouth and icecream
Thom Yorkified
Yeah If they don't send these to retailers it's just stupid shit.
openupyourskull
I'll probably pick this up from one of the local shops if they get any hopefully for a little bit cheaper. But at the same time, I'm pretty sure I'm going to just have to suck it up and buy it online.
timbrh2001
So whether you order online and pay $10 shipping, or pick it up in person, you're still paying $40 for a single LP and a CD? Awesome. Dont forget the 24 bit download too.
Derek™
I feel like it would've been so much more practical to "build your bundle" with this pre-order. Is it great that they're offering the album on multiple mediums, including lossless digital files? Absolutely. Does everyone need or want a copy of the album on every possible format? Definitely not. youspinmeround
Shelby
One sold buy-it-now on eBay for $99 haha I hope they paid.
shaizada
Ordered after listening to the full album on you toob. Nice album. Though not stoked with the price, it is what it is. The vinyl is COMPLETELY analog...recording, mastering, cutting. Downloading the 96/24 wav files now.
azvd
I still couldn't get enough from the high quality files. Great 'cause I plan to play the hell out of my vinyl once it arrives.
yarostino
got my copy today. i have to say im a little underwhelmed by the packaging. the cardboard is pretty thin and feels kinda cheap. i havent listened to the record yet, though.

nelso330
anyone know how many of these were pressed? A shit load! Never sold out online shop and a ton of local stores are getting copies through distributors!!!! It's a mass pressing for sure
throwgncpr
A shit load! Never sold out online shop and a ton of local stores are getting copies through distributors!!!! It's a mass pressing for sure yep. This combined with the price helped me decide to hold off. It's a great album, but that price sucks, and I don't need every format imaginable. I'm sure this will show up discounted at distros later in the year.

Price doesn't suck because it comes with a CD and a 24 bit download. Do you know how much 24 bit downloads cost if you were to buy them separately? The CD is pointless if they are including 24-bit download

Shelby
I still don't think it's a mass pressing like said above. My local record store is really good with getting everything and they're only getting copies for those that order it through them via email. I don't see stores selling this for less than $
Willow_Tree_Records
My local store is taking names of people who want a copy. He said $40 as well.
orangesix
i think it was a bit misleading that the original post on the website said "limited pressing", then after the site crash and all of the initial orders that part sort of just disappeared. It has to have sold at least 2000 considering all of the initial hype.

In a way it does make it better. If an artist prints something in an edition of 100, its much more valuable than if its printed in mass. The same applies to vinyl. If they say its "limited" to convince you to buy it, only to find out its not limited. Doesn't necessarily make the music better, but I could have possibly lived with just the digital format if I knew.

I agree promoting something as "limited" is total BS if in fact it wasn't limited to begin with, though "limited" can be a very vague phrase when no numbers were actually given. That said, I was gonna buy the vinyl if it were 10 copies or 10,
