mrrom92
Best buy near you sold it early? Going to need picture proof of that Never said that dude. All I know is that a Best Buy store in VA sold it early, and most likely some others did as well. I'm assuming the FLACs I got came from someone who picked up the CD early. New Slaves I hadn't thought about it too much, but this is probably my same top 5... though I'd feel bad leaving On Sight out of there
David The Gnome
I'm convinced that Bound 2 is a lost track from The College Dropout
Guest
first listen, i got to bound 2 and just wanted it to end. mostly because i was just getting my first glance at the album, and was anxious to hit play again. now it's one of the standout tracks that keeps getting stuck in my head. Derek™
Not huge on Bound 2, personally. That sample just doesn't do much for me at all.
jaedong
I'm convinced that Bound 2 is a lost track from The College Dropout other than the meta lyrics i'd have to agree

zuck
Not huge on Bound 2, personally. That sample just doesn't do much for me at all. To me, the samples from Bound 2 & the one at the end of New Slaves are the best on the album.
zuck
Oh yeah, the one in Blood On The Leaves is pretty ridiculous too.
Derek™
To me, the samples from Bound 2 & the one at the end of New Slaves are the best on the album. Quite fair. I'm certainly not here to change anyone's mind.
ShakeyHands
WHERE IS THE LOVE FOR HOLD MY LIQUOR? I LOVE THAT TRACK! otherwise, pretty mediocre album. and i know i'm the only one with that opinion. I only like about half the album, and only like parts of most tracks.

Green Tea Papi
My Favorite tracks 1. I'm In It: Those female coo along with the deep omnipotent voice along with the slamming bass with those samples and the reggae guy , it's the best song I can't wait tell I'm driving in December to play this 2. Blood on The Leaves: After the autotune that serine bass hits you like a fucking bus it's so good with the lyrics and that sample 3. I Am A God: It's like Yeezy meets Death Grips its just close your eyes and enjoy the ride.
radiatorhums
WHERE IS THE LOVE FOR HOLD MY LIQUOR? That's the song that stands out to me the most after two times through. I've enjoyed the whole thing, I really liked 808s and I pick up a very similar feel from this.

drewberinger
anyone else feel like Jay's album announcement is deeeefinitely him trying to trump Yeezus? it's funny because now Kanye's rant at Governor's Ball makes even more sense "This is the part of the show where I start complaining about shit, justifying shit, but you know how it is. I'm just happy to be making music and happy to be able to perform this shit for you all. You know with this album, we didn't drop no single for radio; we ain't have no big NBA campaign or nothing like that, we ain't even got no cover. We just made some real music." it's just two different mindsets and shows how different they are as artists. I know some media outlets will now interpret that rant as "shots fired" at Jay. But I don't see that.
dreamover
Don't forgot the $150 million Live Nation/Jay deal. They're going to promote the shit out of his record whether he likes it or not.
cwhitmuzik
It's been such a cool year for album promotion between Daft Punk, Boards Of Canada, Justin Timberlake, Kanye, and Jay-Z. Each with different styles way outside the norm. If someone says Shone I will shoot them.
