jhulud
I'm hoping that my preorder from NIN.com shows up tomorrow. That'd be kinda nice. To have the record on hand on release date.
negavinyl
I'm hoping that my preorder from NIN.com shows up tomorrow. That'd be kinda nice. To have the record on hand on release date. Yeah. I got offered this by two local stores as of Friday. It would have been about $25. Preordering FTL.

BuzzersonKillwell
"The band's 90-minute set featured hard rock anthems, songs with techno influences as well as groovy and eerie jams. NIN closed the night with a slow and smoky cover of Johnny Cash's "Hurt," which earned nonstop cheers from the crowd. Reznor was soft as he sang the song's verses — making it the set's highlight." Hehe. From the associated press, via reddit. Adam10647

jhulud
It'd make way too much sense to have the pre-orders on hand on release day. But nooooooooo!!!
Adam10647
It'd make way too much sense to have the pre-orders on hand on release day. But nooooooooo!!! Boo-urs they shipped media mail Carlsbad, CA so if you're in the North East it might be another day or
jhulud
I'm in Florida. But what really burns my ass is that the tracking on the Modlife site says it's out for delivery. But the mail was already delivered today here. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!

numanoid
The "audiophile" download is, unfortunately, not very audiophile. It's still pretty brickwalled.
j67ab
Spinning this now. Very nice! Came in two boxes from Amazon. Vinyl seems heavier than 180gr. Inner sleeves made it too.
negavinyl
It'd make way too much sense to have the pre-orders on hand on release day. But nooooooooo!!! Get ready for your next round of disappointment when it arrives with it's corners and sleeves all bent up. Terrible packaging/mailers. The album itself sounds fantastic, and the packaging, damage be damned, is pretty nice.

jhulud
Big-ass box. No padding whatsoever. Surprisingly enough no dinged corners. But the inside printed sleeves are starting to split from the records moving inside. Adam10647

But the inside printed sleeves are starting to split from the records moving inside. You got lucky friend. Mine came in a regular mailer, also no padding, dinged corners galore! I'm just glad the records aren't warped. Per the Modlife thread on ETS, there's not much hope of getting satisfaction out of the customer service on these jokers.
