cephcarn4
Really late on this, but does anyone know if I can still pick up their Suns and Lovers EP anywhere? The label big love still has black copies!
jhulud
The label big love still has black copies! Negative. All sold out. http://biglove.bigcartel.com/product/pre-order-biglove026-nothing-
Danh
I figured so. Oh well, thanks though, cephcarn4 and jhulud. Just wondering, to those who have listened to "Suns and Lovers," how does it compare to "Downard Years to Come" and "Guilty of Everything"? jhulud
I'd venture to say that Suns And Lovers is more straight-forward 90's shoegaze sound than Downward and Guilty. Whereas the latter two upped the noise aspect and "crunch" of the guitars, S&L has a more dreamy and softer feel. I could easily picture and hear any of the S&L tracks being played on MTV's 120 Minutes back in the day as the newest import from the Manchester shoegaze and indie scene. captainaldous
I may be wrong, but wasn't there talk about repressing both of those?
captainaldous
Actually just looked on amazon for Downward and it says "Get it September 2, 2014." jhulud
Dom at A389 Recordings posted that a reissue of Downward is forthcoming. It'll include new artwork and two additional tracks.

castaway
Mine apparently shipped yesterday and showed up today. It's real purdy. Royce
radiatorhums
Negative. All sold out. http://biglove.bigcartel.com/product/pre-order-biglove026-nothing-12 This sold out fairly recently too. I left a tab open to remind myself to order it and I still didn't manage it. I suck.

Shinji
Just got this and I finally have a copy with zero surface noise. Looks cool too!
dvv
In my opinion Suns and Lovers sounds more post punk and Downward feels like the shoegaze sound they went for and Guilty feels the same except heavier. All really great albums though. drds89
nothingnatural
Suns is actually some of my favorite stuff they've done. I got lucky and got a white copy for $6 off Discogs. I got it back when it came out though so thankfully there was no 'hype' yet.
castaway
Anyone miss out on the red/black tri-stripe? I ordered with the wrong billing info then ordered again when I didn't get confirmation for the first one, but they ended up sending me 2 anyway. So I'll sell the extra for cost+ship which is like ~$27.

jrodan
Nothing more embarrassing than trying to impress a bunch of nerds online when you can easily be contradicted.
