Nicky has always spoke his mind and never cared about offending people. That wasn't going to change just because he can reach a larger following now. But that doesn't excuse calling him a pussy and shit yeah it was a pretty poor review but the choice of words used by Whirr in that Facebook post were in poor taste. I just discovered these guys from the Death Of Lovers record, so I picked up the Downward Years To Come album and also was able to snag a copy of the Suns And Lovers EP. Nice writeup. The end of it is something that I wholesomely agree with, and like it pertains to a lot of critiques I've been reading lately. Sometimes music isn't trying to fit into a niche genre or appeal to a certain crowd; sometimes it's just good, and should be left at that.
