I say that every year and then it gets closer to the day and I suddenly have a list I want, I've not yet figured out how that works.

I'm in the same boat - I say now "eh, I'm not waking up early for anything this year"

By the time rsd comes around I'll be sitting on concrete, munching on a powerbar at 4am. Maybe I'll splurge this year and get myself a mini folding chair

This sounds interesting.  A Song with 2 guys from OFF!, Ty Segall and John Dwyer from the Oh Sees

The Jeffrey Lee Pierce Sessions Project
The Double A-Side Split 7”
Release Date: 04/19/2014 · Format: 7” · Catalog-No: SI GR 804

This is the perfect appetizer for the upcoming new album by The Jeffrey Lee Pierce Sessions Project "Axels & Sockets“ (GR 796), which will be released on May 2nd.

Both tracks will NOT be on the full length album, so we have two exclusives for the Vinyl aficionados! "Zonar Rose“ is a rowdy, wild rocker that features bay area legends Keith Morris (founding member and first singer for Black Flag) and Steven McDonald (Redd Kross), who both nowadays serve as frontman and bass player for the mighty OFF! plus fellow Californians Ty Segall (The Epsilons) and John Dwyer (Thee Oh Sees). "Girl It’s Me“ sees one of Glasgow’s finest bands, The Primevals at their best. A catchy, raw and driving song, perfect for any garage/punk rock jukebox with some of the finest slide guitar lead parts.

This single is exclusively available for Record Store Day 2014 and limited to 666 copies worldwide!

When is Nirvana Greatest Hits going to be reissued? I figured it would be a limited RSD item by now like Hoarmoaning. I asked ORG why they didn't press it and they said the label planned on pressing it themselves again at some point.

I just want a one-sided "You Know You're Right" 7-inch.

LCD info:

THE LONG GOODBYE: LCD SOUNDSYSTEM LIVE AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN

MADISON SQUARE GARDEN FAREWELL CONCERT TO BE RELEASED IN ITS ENTIRETY

WARNER BROS. TO ISSUE JAMES MURPHY-PRODUCED 5-LP VINYL APRIL 19 FOR RECORD STORE DAY, FOLLOWED BY MAY 20 WIDE RELEASE IN VINYL & DIGITAL FORMATS

The final coda of the LCD Soundsystem saga will arrive this Record Store Day, April 19, when Warner Bros. releases The Long Goodbye: LCD Soundsystem Live At Madison Square Garden, a 5-LP vinyl unabridged recording of LCD Soundsystem's near four-hour April 2, 2011 farewell show at New York's Madison Square Garden. On May 20th, this vinyl box set will hit retailers en masse and will be released digitally as well. Full tracklist below.

Produced and mixed by LCD founder and frontman James Murphy, The Long Goodbye is the ultimate audio document of LCD Soundsystem's now legendary final show. The album's exclusive mix brings new life to every note of music played during the epic MSG show--including of course the performances featured in the acclaimed film Shut Up and Play The Hits, which chronicled the concert while painting an intimate portrait of Murphy navigating its lead-up and aftermath.

Hailed by New York magazine as "a marvel of pure craft" and Rolling Stone as a "staggeringly great night," The Long Goodbye show was the lengthiest, most career-spanning set LCD Soundsystem would ever play. The album captures Murphy and company going out on top and on their own terms: with the ultimate LCD live performance in both senses of the word. On The Long Goodbye, the LCD core live band of Murphy, Pat Mahoney, Nancy Whang, Al Doyle, Gavin Russom, Tyler Pope and Matt Thornley is augmented by a choir, string and horn sections plus contributions from both one-time-only special guests and many of the musicians with whom the band has worked over the years for incredible final performances including "North American Scum" with guest vocals from Arcade Fire, "All My Friends," "I Can Change," "Daft Punk Is Playing At My House," "Someone Great," a full performance of "45:33" featuring Reggie Watts, an epic version of the song that started it all "Losing My Edge" (which can be seen here: http://youtu.be/HmrOHxS_cK0), and literally hours more.

Was able to pick up a copy of this at a record store a while ago. Would be cool if it was rereleased though.
