atticus
I love soup of all kinds, however I have somewhat of a beard and I end up looking like a fucking cave-man when I eat it. A lot of us have fairly decent beards, any tricks or tips to keep my barbarian ass from embarrassing myself at dinner?
dreamover
have you tried an actual soup spoon? kamalatapes
steventangent
Just get it all in there. If anybody looks at you funny or comments, look them square in the eye and say "WHAT." mcguirk and konk
Princess Logan
As a man with a beard, I can absolutely confirm that it is possible to eat soup. mcguirk
jhulud
Soup is easy to eat when you have a beard. I have difficulties with saucy chicken wings. Always messy. imaxcowboyx
kamalatapes
I don't understand how this can get messy? For me when I heard my beard blasted out it was hard to eat sandwiches, pizzas were iffy, basically anything from hand to mouth got messy. Spoon foods no though? haha Why not trim your beard? I use my actual hair clippers to do my beard, and I use blade on my high cheeks because I'm a werewolf otherwise Jude Law does it, so can you
kjkenney
Jude Law eats soup too??? We have so much in common. *swoon*
deafening
Why avoid it when you can embrace it
Rip
I usually at least keep my mustache trimmed up so the hairs don't start curling under into my mouth. Not the whole mustache cause that would look stupid if it was a completely different length than the rest of my beard. Just the hairs that would curl under. I use those nose-hair trimmer scissors for that. I really don't get how some people can let those hairs go. But yeah. Never have any problems with spoon/fork foods. zacaroo21
Legit tip: push the spoon while scooping, not pull. It will drip less and not make such a mess.
Shitty Rambo
Seriously, you beardmen have it all already. Make you decision, women's attention or soup. You can't have it all!
zacaroo21
Rambo, you're so angry! All your podcast this week was hating on people. Can I buy you a wiskey? Shitty Rambo

chamb117
I usually at least keep my mustache trimmed up so the hairs don't start curling under into my mouth. the bane of my existence = when my mustache hairs curl into my mouth. makes my lip itchy as hell and i feel like i'm always chewing on them. as a man who embraces his facial hair i'll always be ashamed that i'll never have the mental fortitude to grow a bushy mustache circa sam elliott. Not the whole mustache cause that would look stupid if it was a completely different length than the rest of my beard. i used to shave only my mustache sometimes to upset my friends. it was pretty nu metal
maneatingcow
It's been 7 or 8 months for me without trimming my beard at all. Starting to think I need to break down and start trimming my mustache because i'm so sick of eating those hairs. I hate eating those awesome Ice Cream Drumsticks. So good but I immediately need to run and wash my beard after eating one.
The Vool
It really depends...I think it's quite a challenge to eat (at all) if your mouth is covered by your beard! You could use a straw But beware: only slurp the surface! Otherwise you'll pretty much burn your mouth

caninesapien
I trimmed my beard the other day but before, it was a case of 30% food in mouth 70% food on whiskers

I miss it, but eating food is so much easier now.

kamalatapes
You guys ever lift your beard chin in and give it a whiff? Beard has such a distinctive smell! My wife says mine smells like throw up if I come back from the park all sweaty. But I don't know I kind of think it smells like doughy soft metal. Time to shave I guess
