Single sleeves only part that really bummed me out. It would've been nice to have expanded, new artwork.

I'm cleaning the box set right now and am listening to Act I. I don't have any surface noise, and they sound very clear and crisp. I don't have any of the original presses, so I have nothing to compare to in that regard, but it sounds really good and in line with any other high quality press, so I'm happy.

Yeah, they really do sound great! And they look pretty too. Would recommend to anyone who's a fan of the band. I only had Conor's solo albums, because most of the Bright Eyes albums are/were fuuuuuucking expensive here. So it was either I paid ~$40-50 per album, or just plunk down $175 on the set.

It's worth it. I have the box, the first box, and a bunch of standalone LPs, and I almost always drag out the box. They sound great.

I just bought the boxset before Christmas. Figured it was a healthy decision for my first holidays alone in seven years. Somehow turned out to be a great decision, and I was even more happy to hear this news yesterday! Can't wait to hear what they come up with.

Yes, Act VI was advertised to be an empty sleeve in the set. If and when it is released, box set owners get it at a discount.

Just listened to the single. Halfway through the chorus I thought to myself, if they did an edgy reboot of twilight in 2020 this chorus could play over the trailer. The song will expand their audience and I’m sure there will be shirts galore in hot topic, but I can’t help but think the code orange kids would’ve rolled their eyes at this band if they ever saw that video. I’ll give the full album a listen when it drops, but after never connecting with the last record I’m out for now.

Always had a soft spot for these guys. That being said if they pressed their first 2 (maybe 3?) albums, I’d buy for sure.
