Charging at least double than a standard LP for zero legitimate reason, no extras etc, is robbery plain and simple. Artists and labels should obviously be compensated fairly but this is fucking ridiculous

NEVER STOP BEING A WEIRDO!!! I keep all the original packaging unless it's damaged for some reason. records go in new inner sleeves and jacket goes in new outer sleeve. just imagine 50 years from now when some collector is going through your collection and they're like wow...nice collection but I can't believe he threw away all the original record paper sleeves. trees don't exist anymore and those sleeves are irreplaceable.

Oblivion story: Back when it came out I was still new-ish to collecting vinyl and I couldn't figure out what Mondo was or how to buy the record. I was a M83 fan and found a contest from Crave (a now defunct online magazine) where I won the record, a 3D puzzle of the ship from the movie, collapsible water bottles with the Oblivion logo, and a cap that had the Oblivion logo and name of the movie on the back. I still have everything except the hat which I still miss to this day and I can't find a picture of it online and I've never seen it for sale anywhere.

Apparently, we're the minority who thinks the $40 asking price is too high as the reissue is already showing as SOLD OUT...crazy

It really is crazy when you think about it that way....I thought it'd be the standard $35 especially not being 180gram...was surprised to see a repress at the $40 price point as well...although some of the 3xLP's are now $50?! Which is crazy. 10 years ago I would've said "I'll never pay that" and now here we are...crazy indeed.
