He confused your label name from Last Rights Records to Last Minute Miracle.
...I kid but that sucks with any PayPal disputes now. Shit's fucked we just have to wait.

Uh-oh, we've reached the BACK IN MY DAY point of the thread. (oldmanyellsatcloud.gif)
This thread is older and dates back before the pandemic. Some noobs are having a real hard time waiting for the mail. Others (like me) are speaking more objectively. And a lot of us were here in April/May when records were taking up to 2 months to ship. I mean just quote some people if it bothers you. Most have been relatively understanding of the situation. A lot of the posts here actually have relevant information, although no doubt some people have been over the top complaining and yeah its LOLworthy.
I will say I mailordered CDs back in the day as well and you'd send the money and you were lucky if the item didn't show up via passenger pigeon (/sarcasm) but let's be real its not 1997 anymore and people don't go to the Post Office anymore to get money orders to then send to Dischord, Lookout, and No Idea. Clearly the PO is underfunded and much of the frustration has to do with that (which is a real issue btw) than people we think are slacking during a pandemic. Please read objectively.
Someone somewhere is still jamming to lost CDs that never showed up to me back in 2002.

I got that alert once before, but then it was sorted out somehow (although it was delivery related.) It was a package i sent to someone last month. Give it 24-48 hours before you really panic.
Also records coming in and out of NYC via Jersey City is a lottery system. Some packages I shipped got to other people within 7 days. Some took 8 days to scan to the sort facility. Some have not scanned after almost two weeks.
As for stuff coming to me. USPS has decided to give me max 1 package a day when I have almost 10 packages coming to me through Jersey City. We'll see what shows up tomorrow. LOL.

Best one I've seen this holiday season. Shortest set list, but really entertaining. Only thing is the stream even with the playback was wonky, but definitely worth it. Buy one if you get the chance!

LOL, just got a holiday card email from the auctioneer. Unless you're writing to say that the trunk winner flaked on payment, and you're offering it to me, I never want to hear from y'all ever again.

I came here just at the end of the Virgil VC drama and right in the middle of the RJ drama. Crazy. I used to see RJ all the time before the TOYPAJ drama and then afterwards only saw him around a handful of times over a span of years.
The Vinyl Collective distro was awesome and had a bunch of varied great releases with great prices and eventually the blowout sale was cool in the sense you got a bunch of records for cheap but seeing that craft beer tour option in the distro was LOLworthy.
Good on @AlexH. to give the history and man if I bought the Co-op share I’d be pissed too, especially since money was tight for me back then.
Simpler times. Now the world is on fire....

Looks this this one ended well for VC this time around! Missing out on this is easily the most successfully group buy in the history of the board.

I’ll look into band camp cards but the company we use exclusively uses drop cards which is a seamless experience for us.

That I’m aware of. While I don’t think downloads are utilized like they used to be, Dropcards are the worst. That said, there are people who still use it, and options like Bandcamp are 1000% better as people could download the format of their choice or choose fob or download it and still stream with it. Much more desirable honestly and even labels like B9 and Dischord have really started to embrace it.

GradedOnACurve got a reaction from verb1999 in Every Time I Die - Album 9
People should just pay for streams if they want to watch/support the bands they like because they have ZERO touring income right now. That's where they really make their money, and the pandemic has stopped that.
You don't have to feel obligated to get every stream. Pick and choose wisely. Other than that EVERY band that can stream should do so and make as much as they can. For some of them the band was their full time job. Support them and venues they stream from as much as you can or there won't be much left when this is all over.

I think the possible point here is that artists typically take home the most revenue when touring/shows in addition to merch I would think. In contrast to physical media as well as digital downloads and streaming, where they only get a small fraction of that money.
So in reality, these bands are trying to do stuff that will actually make them money/support themselves. Probably the main reason ETID has postponed the new album release until they can tour it and make money off of it.

The Four Trees is gatefold and the rest are all single sleeves. Just finished love at the old church and it sounds great as well. Definitely would recommend picking these up if you don’t have them get.

Midnight PST tonight according to his FB post. So 3am for us on the East Coast. What the actual fuck. I happened to order in time and now this shit. Just send everyone shipping invoices and if you don’t get it in a week cancel their orders.
