itsgoodtobefree
I just played both Goldeneye and Perfect Dark right now and Goldeneye ages WAY better than Perfect Dark. It's clear that Perfect Dark was trying to do way to much on the N64's limited hardware. It's like playing through a slideshow in a lot of parts of the game. The 360 version of PD was great, except that aiming felt way off with the 360 controller. Don't think any level in PD topped Facility though. (yeah -- the simulation mode in PD was great)
dapeebs
PD 360 was awesome. One of the first games I got for the system.

No This Is Patrick
One of the cooler things I did in high school was be a teacher's aid for our IC3 (computer class). One day I brought in my USB drive with Project64 and GoldenEye, eventually others in the class got interested and we ended up plugging in another keyboard for some 4 player split screen death matches! It was a plus having a super-chillax teacher too. Super stoked on Banjo-Kazooie! Probably my first "real" video game I played. Also seeing BK is making me hungry for Burger King... We uploaded it to the school's file system so that you could download it to any computer connected in the school. Some fun memories. Speaking of great soundtracks. The CoD4 main menu theme is stellar.

Most websites and even some of the desktop games were blocked.
pizza face
Only video game soundtracks I'd ever buy would be Super Mario 64, Donkey Kong Country and Goldeneye The Dire dire docks stage music from Super Mario 64 was always my favorite Jamie Rarity
cambionic
I absolutely hate how expensive the Banjo Kazooie is, but I adore the music from that game and I really like how they did the cover. I hope they last a little while with it being out of 3000. It's almost restrictively expensive, but that music is so damn good! pizza face
Never played Majora's Mask, only watched a friend play back in the day. Only got halfway through Orcarina too. So I'm not too familiar with their scores unfortunately.

pizza face
I'll probably play ocarina on an emulator, I remember the last part I played made me stop because I didn't have a guide so I got stuck. But it was shortly after the part where you had to burn the spiderweb in a cave or something

DecayToDeath
I'd get an LP of the OOT score, but I'd settle for a 7" that was "Lon Lon Ranch" b/w "Kakariko Village".
batman
i'd rather get some orchestral comps than straight VG music. for the most part if i'm feeling nostalgic, i'll play the game. distant worlds (final fantasy) or video games live or the 25th anniversary Zelda symphony would be ace. Speaking of renditions of tracks I want on vinyl the Zelda tracks done by BadBadNotGood are so ace. Probably would get a C&D from Nintendo though. Song of Storms ftw. This. Part of me wants those Rare soundtracks, but honestly how often am I going to listen to them? If they were orchestral versions then I wouldn't hesitate to grab them... dapeebs
Majora's Mask score has to be my favorite out of video games I've played. So much nostalgia.
Le Gogh
If this sort of thing makes it's way into the FF7 Remake I'll be pretty happy!
Vector53
Yeah I think I'm gonna stick with just the Battletoads vinyl. I can only stand midi banjo tracks for so long and I can't really justify PD cause of the fact that I never played it.
