To me a white whale should be a record that you simply cannot locate (or have to spend a significant amount of time locating), even when you have the funds available to purchase it. Yep. If I wanted to drop $260 on one of them, and $150 for another they could have be mine at one point. Siren Song would end up on ebay every so often, but just went for a lot of money. I actually picked up a copy of that Rise Against record brand new for 12 bucks this last summer at Zia Records in Tucson. Hasn't that shit been pressed like 30 times? That is not rare. Rare is the copy of Don't Turn Away by Face to Face (pressing on yellow wax Dr Strange did) that I'm searching for. Its sold like 5 times on E-Bay in the last 10 years.
