+hecollec+or
I think he was referring to the people in this thread, specifically the dude asking about future Korn reissues. Ah. Well I would hope not but I doubt 100% of the people here will cease ordering from him. Good Charlotte is too awesome to pass up.
psus2h
That dude is a Ross This. It was hilarious when Ross was trying to say to wait for his release and not the MOV release because it was cheaper. Yeah by a dollar or two. made in the USA too! But I suppose the Dutch are good people as well.

tetsuodaironman
I'm sure there are people reading this thread who don't get how any of this applies to them wanting a Korn album. Yeah, because, you know, they are Korn fans and all. Might as well let ETR press some CD-rips of Limp Bizkit and Staind next. throwgncpr

dj29
"No proofs requested" lol And yeah, seems like 80% of labels get tons of test pressings nowadays. Kinda pisses me off to see that.
Shinji
Oh shit well yeah, i guess a lot of labels do but the minimum is usually 5, at least that's what i got

dj29
The most we've ever gotten is 9. Getting so many damn test presses kind of takes away from it I think. Also, who get's 7's at Pirates Press? Not sure if anyone could find a more expensive place to press 7's if they put forth an effort.
chamb117
yeah, 20 tests being the "standard" is a totally recent, vinyl-bubble thing. most plants offer five, and you can pay, like, $2 for each additional test. so it's no wonder labels load up on tests given their resale value thanks to THE HOBBY. 2000th post, booyah dj29

dj29
Fat Wreck Chords gets their 7"s at Pirates Press That's Fat, I'm sure they don't pay +/-3 bucks a pop for em. Big difference when you're pressing hundreds of thousands per year vs, typical punk labels 1000 or less per pressing. A place as big as FAT is probably singlehandedly paying most of those guys salaries..
