Guest
White Collar is good for a Sunday afternoon binge session. It's fairly smartly written, entertaining, and not TERRIBLY predictable. Good character writing too...and Matt Bomer is pretty damn sexy in that show, no matter what way you swing. Yeah, that dude is sexy as hell. I'm jealous. Evening everyone! Hope y'all had a good weekend/Easter if that's your thing <3 T3, check out Peaky Blinders as well if you're looking for something on Netflix. Great acting, stylistically beautiful, and compelling/short enough to keep you watching I'll check it out, thanks.

Youinreverse
I finished watching Detectorists a few weeks ago and loved it. I just started The League, and it's super funny, even if you don't care about football.
DecayToDeath
I just watched all but the first 30 minutes of Whiplash with my dad. Holy fuck, I loved the music in that movie.
Dominic_
I just upgraded my Marantz 2225 to a Pioneer SX-780 and the extra power makes a hell of a difference. I'll want a dedicated phono stage because the built in one isn't amazing but I got a pretty great buy on it.

The League is great. I got burnt out on it after 4 seasons, but the first few are gold. I just watched all but the first 30 minutes of Whiplash with my dad. Holy fuck, I loved the music in that movie. Whiplash was one of my favorite movies that year. I saw it in theaters and I was blown away. Was looking forward to it for almost a year before I saw it, so my expectations were really high, and they were exceeded.

TheGhostOfRandySavage
Bought some slippers tonight. I'm sitting here in slippers and sweatpants. I am the old man I always knew I would become. We went to a movie tonight and this teen girl was talking too much behind us and my wife turned around and said "COULD YOU PLEASE BE QUIET?!" This is what I've always dreamed of. Dominic_
What were you guys talking about putting under a TT to help with isolation? Marble? I rearranged my setup and am having trouble when I step on the floor in spots.

I'm stopping by a local cabinet/countertop place next week because I'm having the same problem.
Dominic_
Marble, though I assume granite would work too. I'm stopping by a local cabinet/countertop place next week because I'm having the same problem.I got a new receiver that's higher powered than what I had because the Marantz 2225 wasn't pushing my TSi400s well. I had to slide some stuff around and now my TT must be sitting on a weird board or something. I got a Pioneer SX 780 for $150 in great shape and it runs hotter than my 2225 so I can't stack my TT on top of it. The 2225 didn't get hot at all. I sold the 2225 for $200 so I actually came out $50 ahead and got a better piece of gear. I aesthetically like the new layout a lot better too. Wish I'd done that initially. I need to reorganize my posters on the wall though because things were centered off of furniture that moved.

Dominic_
Slab of marble: Cool, I can make that work. What does one that size cost? I should take some pictures of my new setup because I really like how it's laid out.

Free/cheap is always good. I'll look into it tomorrow. I'm still trying to clean up because I made a mess shifting furniture and it's tiring so I think I'm about to call it a night.
