I've never had this feeling about work before, but after a 5 day weekend all I feel is an overwhelming sense of dread about having to head out for work in a few minutes.

The worst part is I should be stoked because i work two day this week then I have the weekend.  I follow that up by working two days next week then having a 5 day weekend.

Happy Boxing Day to all you Canadian VCers!

I learnt recently that Americans don't celebrate Boxing Day. That'd explain why you guys have Black Friday for sales. The first time I heard about Black Friday I thought it involved massive sales that went on in the middle of the night while the stores were pitch black.

Petition to make this what actually happens on Black Friday.

The tattoo on my neck is all raised and swollen. I have no idea why this is happening since I've had this stupid thing since I was 16. Anyone have any advice? It's kind of warm to touch also.

Sounds like an infection :/ Is it red at all? And how warm? If it gets to the point where it actually feels hot to the touch and not just warm then I'd go to the doctor.

I have two tattoos on my forearms and they become raised when my skin is irritated.  I have chronic eczema that tends to affect the area right above the tattoos in the elbow crease, so when it flares up really badly, my tattoos will raise.  I don't think I've experienced anything temperature-wise, though.  It could still be a skin irritation/allergy.  That's what it sounds like to me at least from my experience with my stupid eczema rashes.  If it's worrying you, go see your doctor to get it checked out for sure.  How long has it been raised and swollen?

It's black ink so I can't tell if it's really red or not. But I've been rubbing it because I'm worried haha so it's a little red now. I noticed it about 2 hours ago and it hasn't gone down. It's just crazy to me how something I got 8 years ago decides to do this now. I have noticed that my skin has been more sensitive than usual this winter. I've never had any problems like this before though.

And it's only this one tattoo that's acting up.

Try to leave it alone and see if it goes down.  Have you been in a warmer-than-usual environment? Maybe wearing a scarf over that tattoo?  I know that humidity/heat can cause tattoos to raise, too.

That's normal it'll go down. From time to time any random tattoo I have will raise and be itchy. Probably I scratched them during a run and work out I can never tell. Sometimes it's even just one part of the tattoo. This also happens to my wife and she has super super sensitive skin. It'll go down. Just make sure you wash the area with luke warm water and soap to prevent infection.
