My friend from the card shop is an old hardcore kid. He's 35 now but has a bunch of hardcore (and weeb) tattoos and plans on getting another band logo before the show. He apologized in advance because he said there was a 99% chance he punches me in the face if I am in the American Nightmare pit. He used to be in a band that opened for American Nightmare on a tour once upon a time and is still pretty friendly with them too. Awesome dude. Also was telling me about a show just after Jane Doe came out ish that American Nightmare and Converge played at the Nile Underground (Nile Theater's basement, maybe 150 cap tops) where AN's vocalist was too sick to go on and Converge's did a set with AN. RIP hopes and dreams. I still want to see Converge anywhere, but that's amazing. Are we not taking bets on Dillinger Escape Plan too? Can I bet against myself? I keep half joking about needing a wheelchair after having AN/Judge fest and DEP in the same weekend, and I don't think she realizes how out of hand it will get. I went into the interview very wishy-washy about the whole thing because I really do like the funeral home I'm at...but they were like, "So how much money do you want?" and I had just been talking with people about what the going rate for funeral directors was/had gotten another offer for way more than I currently get, so I was a little hot about the whole thing and I asked for ~$5/hour more than I get currently...then I calculated it up in the car and was like..."Oh shit.
