ilikeguitars
As disappointed as a lot of people were with the new further album, their live show shines hard. They are still on top their game and the new album honestly didn't do them justice.
ronniegwilliams
OP nailed it. I read about this last night and all I could think was how A. this was going to sound like a Mumford/Avett rip and B. Chris should probably just stick with something. Listening to it now and I'm legitimately embarrassed. Fairly certain this song has already been written a thousand times. I'm all for tossing out some generic music here and there, obviously, considering I'm a huge fan of pop-punk; but Carabba is reminding me of a seventeen year old still struggling to find their identity. Years ago: "Man, agressive music with a lot of emotion is really cool, we should do that guys." Years later: "So chicks really do dig sad songs on acoustic guitars?" Months ago: "So this Mumford band, what's their story?" I'm surprised he's subscribing to such write-by-numbers trite. knifeparty
billya
I have listened to this song a couple times because I was really hoping that it would grow on me, but this is garbage. I like roots-y folk-y Americana stuff, but I feel as though they sat down and tried to write songs like this and just watched some Youtube tutorials on banjo playing and threw it together. thebiglebowski
So that's what Mumford and Sons sounds like. Turrible. Was that a Charles Barkley "turrible"? His best moment: TheGhostOfRandySavage

controlthebleeding
I'm really surprised no one compared it as really generic pogues stuff. which is the only band i can tolerate doing this shit. but unlike mumford and sucks, they did it well. mdb
Hahaha, so sick of the overused generic banjo lines. Don't forget the stomping. And the "HEY!" gang vocals on every damned song.

Shitty Rambo
Tired jams are tired. Early 1900's core is the new screamo.Damn shame. I actually enjoyed the new FSF and was slowly beginning to somewhat respect Chris Carrabba again.
