Guest
My Bloody Valentine - m b v. First half is like a perfect EP. Also can't stand side B of the new Godspeed record.

Obviously Mladic pulverizes everything else on that release - all three remaining tracks, that is - but you really dislike 'Worried Fire that much? Definitely a bummer. Guest
Too "post rock" for my tastes. It reminded me of Explosions in the Sky or something, with the huge crescendo. It took me seeing Mladic live to fully appreciate it so it's probably the same with this song.

And coming from GY!BE it's a little jarring to be sure. On a first listen of the album I didn't care for it nearly as much as Mladic, but I also don't quite detest it. Makes me very interested to hear where they may go with new material.
moonbeams
I was going to be snarky and list splits, singles with bad b-sides and some one-sided records, but no. All my records are well balanced.

SpazzyMcGee
Came here to post this. The B side starts off with "Empires", a vinyl exclusive track. All in all you can tell they actually gave some though to the arrangement of songs for the vinyl release. Agreed, an exclusive track is always a good first move. The Butcha
The smiths boy with the thorn in his side single. The b side of rubber ring transitioning into asleep is pretty perfect. hobohunter48
amnstypls
Converge's "Axe To Fall." The whole album is flawless, but "Cutter" combined with the final two tracks is just musical perfection. I think anyone could enjoy "Cruel Bloom."

bear801
In an Aeroplane Over the Sea. I can stare at a blank wall while listening to side B and be perfectly content. came here to post this. I had this on cassette in '98 and i remember side B was always my favorite.

gutzonborglum
I prefer the second half of Pet Sounds. The first half is still better than pretty much everything, though. somethingvinyl
mclz
Nothing off the top of my head, but when this is the case I always listen to the B-side and then the A-side of the record instead of A to B.
filthyrich
Side C of DCFC's Plans. What Sarah Said, Brothers On A Hotel Bed, and Stable Song are just perfect. I always thought Sarah was a bit too cloying, love the last two though. I prefer the second record of Transatlanticism, if that counts.... Side C/D beginning with the title track (AKA The Greatest Thing DCFC Will Ever Write) and ending with A Lack Of Color.

ntslash
Old school: Van Morrison's "Astral Weeks." New school: Second record (Side C/D) of NIN's "Downward Spiral." I respectfully disagree with your assessment of Downward Spiral. Side A/B is way better if for no other reason than it doesn't have "Big Man with a Gun" on it.
