blanchardoswald
So what exactly are on the two other discs?
kylebutcher
~70 unreleased tracks. Maybe demos and b-sides. It's overkill in my opinion
DJ Quik
~70 unreleased tracks. Maybe demos and b-sides. It's overkill in my opinion Got to milk the same album as much as possible for $$$

sugareggs
My favorite Nirvana album....but $65 bucks ?!?! seesh
AlexH.
How is this milking anything exactly? As far as vinyl goes, this album has been in and out of print for the last twenty years, and the CD has remained exactly the same. This is the first real reissue of this album, and all they're doing is compiling all the recordings from that era in one package, which makes sense for a band like Nirvana whose influence was massive, but whose discography spans only 3 albums. morfiend
morfiend
Will be purchasing, but not from Amazon.

unravelled
Got to milk the same album as much as possible for $$$ Well it does contain one of my favorite Nirvana songs, "Milk It", so I'm cool with them milking in utero.
kas1985
So what exactly are on the two other discs? Rolling Stone is reporting that this reissue will include an entire live show from this era. Don't know if this includes the vinyl LP reissue or not, but I would include this as a possibility.
nothingnatural
Will definitely grab this down the road.
phoenixinflight
Don't own this, so may eventually pick it up when the price drops.
celebdeath
So what exactly are on the two other discs? the album is spread out over two slabs @ 45rpm and the third slab is b-sides, bonus tracks etc remastered. i heard about the 70 tracks too, but not sure if they could fit them on one record..... i guess we'll also get a massive CD boxset with all those extra jams. ruckis
Apparently there is a full live concert on one of the discs? I will definitely be buying this eventually.
souljacker8888
it looks like there is a deluxe cd box set with the extra 70 tracks, including the Live and Loud show, which will also come out as a stand alone dvd. Since the full tracklisting is still unknown, it's hard to say what (live and/or b-side/demo type stuff) will be on the third slab of vinyl... Adam10647
Hopefully it will include the Steve Albini mixes of the album. It's actually 55 on Amazon right now. Could be worse I paid 70 or 80 for the 4 disc Nevermind a few years back.
psus2h
Hopefully they do a pic disc limited run for this as they did for Nevermind.
kidamnesiac
Not holding my breath on the vinyl release of this. The Nevermind reissue was terribly remastered. I'm so glad I have all the ORG Nirvana stuff. Definitely interested in the digital bonus material, though. Love this album.
robobob
Love this album. Will hold out until more information surfaces.

tonyfranciosa
Live and Loud is part of the CD/DVD set, so I really hope we get that audio here too. My favorite live Nirvana recording.
burntwolf
The only 2 songs that are different on the "Albini" mix are Heart-Shaped Box and All Apologies. They do sound a little different. I have the original (clear), the ORG (color), and the Albini mix version of In Utero. Will be nice to get Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol... on vinyl. I dunno if they'll put You Know You're Right on there, but that would be pretty nice. There wasn't too much left. Marigold and Most Vagina? The other b-sides were live songs if I remember right. Those were the only singles I remember off that record. Prob the Pachyderm sessions are going to be on there. I hope it's not 45rpm. I'm not a fan of that nonsense. Did ppl actually buy that Insesticide 200g 45rpm RSD release for 50 bucks? I would like to compare an original Nevermind to the MSFL one to the anniversary to the ORG one...but I'm not going to be shelling out the cash for an OG or MSFL so I won't be doing that anytime soon...
