cwhitmuzik
What an incredible rip-off, especially considering that it was sticker'd and had seam splits. It was also a German press or something, so of course it would be expensive.

TFP
MOV is from the Netherlands not Germany.
amnstypls
What an incredible rip-off, especially considering that it was sticker'd and had seam splits. The MOV pressing is far above and beyond the others in terms of audio quality though.
Guest
Speaking about seam splits shout out to Tripple Crown for having the best customer service I've ever encountered. Forgot to post but when I ordered my seafoam it showed up with splits. When I asked to get replacement inserts they sent over an entirely new black copy to keep. Incredibly friendly and sent some stickers in with the black. Same for me. So awesome of them.

itsWetWilly
Except that spot in Luca... That's not audio quality. That's a pressing issue.
biodigitaljazz
That's not audio quality. That's a pressing issue. I cleaned my Luca spot with a dry brush and now it plays flawlessly. Shrug
itsWetWilly
I cleaned my Luca spot with a dry brush and now it plays flawlessly. Shrug Yeah. I've tried that 100 times. I'm pretty sure the earlier signs of the spot were cleanable, but if you saw my disc in person, you'd understand. There's a spot with NO grooves. cwhitmuzik
It got worse as the pressing went on. Worn plate or something.

I contacted them, said there was nothing they could do but refund shipping. Should've just told them I needed replacement inserts. SMH.... Fowty Dollaz
So, umm, TCR sold out of their copies of TDAG. 3500 copies (or so). That's pretty impressive considering how many copies exist of this record. Anyway, maybe that means they'll work on repressing something else. You all know what everyone is hoping. Fowty Dollaz
OMG YES. I'm just going to do the math: 3500 copies of TDAG sold to customers/ distributors (SRC, Amazon, etc), Recent repress of the YFW reissue. Green Daisy via Hot Topic. So my guess is they will repress Daisy on Seafoam! Wahoo! THE_James_Champ

Fowty Dollaz
I actually figured Jesse was really into short shorts. I love the cover, but the entire band in daisy dukes would have been epic. Maybe we can get that with when they reissue the album in like 10 years.
biodigitaljazz
Aren't variant collectors of TDAG shitting their fucking pants by now. Is there anyone who says they are still 100% up to date after these debacle:? 213041284s

psus2h
A few weeks ago Travis mentioned that HT would be carrying the TCR pressing of TDAG. Haven't seen it show up yet.
biodigitaljazz
What debacle? Different presses pressed by random groups distributed by different groups. Must just be getting hard to keep track of.
Guest
I've given up on owning every single variant in favor of getting one from each pressing. Aside from the initial AFS/TCR releases, it hasn't been a headache at all
